Low Price, Nice Sound

I have two of these subs in an old Grand Marquis with a ported box and they are extremely loud. I have them hooked up to a kenwood 8104 amp at 2 ohms and my trunk sounds as if i have some explosives from iraq back there. But it you are looking for some nice stufffor the low i would highly recommend these subs.

must have a good amp!!!

man i have this friend who has one of these and it would be a great sub if he had an amp that was worth more than 3 dollars. his amp sucks so it make the sub suck my 12" kicker blows his out of the park when mine aint even turned up and his is in a ported box. if you are going to spend this much on a sub you have to get a good amp.

A must have

I bought this woofer to replace my burnt out Audiobahn AWE15 1200 watt sub. Of course the Memphis sub is only rated at 250 watts rms so I wired it to run at 8 ohms to my Rockford 1001bd in a 4.5 cubic dual ported box (10x4" ports). This sub rocks!!!! My amp is all the way down, and at 8ohms(it's 1 ohm stable) and it is too loud. I have punished this sub with my amp and it just keeps going. It is sooo loud, I can't imagine anything better. I've had alot of expensive subs and this is comparable to all of them. I will be buying 3 more of these soon!

Poop

I have 2 of these and put them on a boss 5000 watt amp and locked them both up 2 seconds into the song. They are garbage if you ask me.

good entry level sub

these sub are extremely boomy and loud, i owned a pair for a year and couldn't kill them i was putting 300rms to each sealed and they rock, for the average listener their the best woofer you can get in this price range, great speaker, but lacks l.f.p. below 35. very efficient sub hit 145db in buick skylark on music. great beginners sub. would recommend to any teenager looking to turn some heads and unleash their gorilla. will do a little hair trick if you know what your doing. i would recommend a ported box.

i bought one of these from one of the local audio shops an i love it...it aint as loud as i would like it to be but it sounds great if you have a good box and amp...its definitely worth what your payin for here its a lot cheaper than what i got it for

Best Bang for your Buck!

I have two of these in a memphis vented box, they are powered by a Kenwood 2 channel amp pushing 250 rms to ea and they hit very hard!! My two subs can compete with anyone at my school and keep up with the JL 12w6's and the Alpine swr 15". For the price you can't get a better sub that will hit this hard!! I recomend this sub to anyone looking for big bass without the high price!

Subs Thump!

The following review is for a previous version (15-PR154D).

These subs will make your eyes shake with the right box and amp! ive got 2 of them in my 240sx, man do they hit hard!! the best part is if i ever blow them, i just have to take them in to a store get the spider replaced instead of shipping them off to the company.

Awesome subs

The following review is for a previous version (15-PR154D).

I know sonic no longer carries this sub but I thought I would review it anyway for anyone who is just reading reviews. These sub's are crazy. I bought 2 of them used from a guy on Craig's list, I'm not sure how long he'd had them but I've now owned them for over a year and I can't f**king kill the things. I have these sub's wired down to 1 ohm on my hifonics 1400rms amp. I would say each sub is getting somewhere between 500-600 watts RMS and for a year and a half they've put up with it. They are in a pretty built ported sub box not built to spec at all but they are so loud its crazy. I have put 8 extra scews in their box because they are literally tearing the box apart. I will say that as far as sound quality goes these aren't too amazing but I'm sure with the right box mine would sound better and either way for the price they are unbeatable in my opinion. Tough as hell and are crazy loud.

15

The following review is for a previous version (15-PR154D).

My friend owns 3 of these. They are probably the best subwoofers you can get for this price. Basically you get what you pay for. He has one in his explorer hook to a 1000 watt sony amp, and they just flat out hit. Good product, and definitely a good buy!
