Fantastic head unit
This head unit has all the features I was looking for, like, zones, 5v pre amp, etc. Installation was straightforward with all the wires labeled. I like that it has its own fuse but a bit concerned it's only on the battery wire and not tied in with the ignition 12v wire as well. I didn't want to wire it up where my ignition needed to be on and running the hour meter if docked or sitting on the water with the engine off. Bluetooth connection is FAST and stable with my Samsung S22 Ultra.
There are literally no issues so far after testing out after installation.
I hope this unit holds up for many summers in the heat and sun.
The rear mount bracket didn't fit in the gauge mount adapter plate but did come with 4 screws to surface mount. Luckily, the trim ring around it covers them up. Screens load fast and smooth. Just looks a little dated.
Overall, I'm pleased with Memphis and haven't used their equipment in over a decade, but I'll be sure to stick with them.
