Good product, poor instructions!
This product is of great quality, however, there are no instructions that come with it! Plugging it in is a no brainer. The problem with this is the blue cable that comes out of the adapter, which no one bothers to tell you what is for--not even the own manufacturer's website! After some research, I found out that the blue cable attaches to the "Power Ant", blue cable of the AFTERMARKET head unit. This blue cable provides the signal booster that the antenna needs--as it was built that way by Honda. Without plugging the blue cable you have almost no reception at all, especially from the HD radio stations. I own a 2008 Honda CR-V, so if your car does not have a singal-boostered antenna you may need not install the blue cable, but I'd find out first.
