Get this kit if you have a civic with keyless entry!
You need to buy this kit if your civic is 1996-1998 and has factory keyless entry!!!! For some reason honda integrated their keyless entry system into the factory radio so when you go to install an aftermarket radio without this kit you loose keyless entry! With this though installation is a breeze! All plug and play! Only extra step is you have to keep your factory head unit hooked up, I hid mine behind the cupholder/power outlet below the head unit.
