Don't go to B*** B**. Works on '06 Cobalt.
I went to B*** B** to get a wire harness for my 2006 Cobalt. "Geek S****" told me the ONLY harness that would work was a $90 piece that "maintained security beeps" - nothing else that would work with my car exists. I turned him down, found this online, and saved $81 installing my new radio. It's been 6 months and it still works perfectly and I don't notice any difference in security beeps or whatever. Just do a little research before going to B*** B** - and make them your last option.

Finally found what I need!
I don’t know why the Chevy Equinox had to make their stereo wiring harness so rare, but I was super bummed when I realized I couldn’t buy an adapter in store. I have been searching everywhere for a new adapter and finally found what I needed here. Stereo is now hooked up and fully operational!!!

It said this was compatible for a Chevy equinox but it is not!! And I can’t find one anywhere that is so I wasted my money on the speaker and the accessories!!!
