Worth the little extra effort to temporarily connect stock radio.
I purchased the harness so I could connect my stock radio to make any changes that normally would be done through the stock radio. I don't care about the D.I.C. because I have an OBD2 scanner and Torque pro on my phone that displays more than the D.I.C. I plugged in the stock radio after connecting the harness in line with the after market head unit and PAC audio adapter. It worked just as if it were still installed. Unplugged it and put in my house. For me definitely worth the little extra effort.

Almost perfect
This product was an easy install however one connection leg was not in the right place. I had to tap into the main ACC cable to make the stereo work.
