Metra 70-7034 wiring harness used in 2014 Kia Optima- VERY happy
This wiring harness worked very well with a 2014 Kia Optima. I was disappointed with the Metra website for the wiring diagram. I had to re-write it so I could understand it. The speaker wires portion of the harness was very easy- color matching. Connecting up the Axxess remote control had some questionable wire colors that slowed the installation process. Definitely would purchase this item again (it was included in the purchase price of my Kenwood DDX770).
What is a wiring harness? The deck has a plug-in with pigtail wires. This wiring harness is spliced to those pigtails and plugs into your vehicle's harness for the factory sound system. NO cutting of factory wires. Deck-Splice- harness connection- factory harness connection
