Made install a piece of cake. Everything very straight forward. I was concerned about Volvo factory amp, but no problems. Only downside is that I lost the radio controls on steering wheel

This is the perfect fit item for aftermarket installs. You don't have to cut in car wiring harness and then splice wires together. Simply take this kit and the aftermarket radio harness and match up the wires on both power and speaker couplers do your splicing at a table in comfort. Wrap the harness you created and go to your vehicle. Now it is simply plug and play.
