For my Volvo S60R which previous used HU 850, this is the adapter to retain the factory amplifier. If you don't want to use the factory amp, I believe the other adapter can be used (you can disconnect the factory amp harness). I added two pins to the plug for my AXXESS steering wheel controller (Ford/Dorman 85347 or 85377). The only this I will add is: the antenna power and the amp trigger both must connect to the radio's antenna switch wire. The instructions don't tell you where the amp trigger connect to.
