Does not fit all 6-1/2 inch speakers!!

Although Metra advertises their 1/2" adapter suited for 5.5" to 6.5" speakers this is not the case. The adapters do not fit my CDT HD-M6+ subs which have an OD of 6.81" and a require a cutout of 5.812". When I tried to fit the speaker to the adapter, I was able to get the speaker only half-way in regardless of how the adapter was oriented with respect to the speaker

These items are something that I use from time to time and they always work. fast easy and good price.

Not so universal

Would not fit the three point mount on my Nissan Juke. Unfortunately they can't be adapted to do so because one of the mounting points is too short.

Good value, great product! I used these 2 sets for my dash and overhead console, was able to just screw in my speakers with out any modifications on my 2012 Jeep Wrangler. I would suggest anyone replacing there jeep speakers get themselves a set

6.5 speaker adapter

These adapters for my 2016 Jeep work great. They allowed me to fit my 6.5 speakers in the rear door no problem. Definitely recommend these if your adding speakers to your Jeep Grand Cherokee.
