I don't know why so many car manufacturers are doing this oddball sized speaker opening for commonly made speakers lately but these adapters will make the installation go so much easier for you.

Rear deck speakers
These were great for my rear 6x9s. I thought they fit the front door 6x9s as well but they don't. I ended up hammering the original speakers out of their bracket and used that. Combining these with the npx silicon buffels made screwing them in difficult but was able to do it with a wrench and more time.

It worked
The 6×9 speaker adapters worked good. With the speakers I got, the speaker overlaped one of the mounting holes on the adapters which made it hard to bolt in the 4th bolt on the back dashboard.
