I love the fit of this Metra kit compared to the Scosche in my Mustang but the plastic "grain" of the surface is hit or miss. Took 4 kits to get a good looking piece. And while some may say "what's one imperfection" I say I am installing an expensive head unit and want the trim pieces to look just as good.

I just screwed up and gave a "so-so" review for the "Dashboard Adapter" you sent. I confused it with a wiring adapter. Please delete the earlier "review"!

The Metra dash bezel fits beautifully in my F150 and was very easy to install. I highly recommend this product!

Work great

This adapter fits my 08 F150 perfect! The only thing I recommend is that if you need to use the spacers in the kit, that you glue them to the dash kit. They just snap into place and frequently pop out of place when trying to install.

This kit was really easy in terms of use and would be easy for someone who is not familiar with this stuff.

Pretty Good, But Not Perfect

I DO recommend this harness. But, I had to add a couple of connections to activate all the features in my Kenwood DNX 7160. This was no big deal to me since I'm comfortable working with electronics, but it was not quite "plug and play".

Ford double din dask kit metra

The kit was easy to install, on 2004 ford f 150 just had to cut plastic where the holes are about half an inch and fit perfectly, would recommend it.

Easy Install

I bought this install kit for my F-150 radio and it went better than expected, although i did have to alter the two tabs a bit Sonics prices and directions helped me get the job done!

With a little bit of trimming, the trim fit well and looks great in
our f-350. you'll need a dremel tool to trim it up!

Simple Design

Car Stero/Great Product

These accessories fit and looks great with the stereo that I purchased. They do go hand-in-hand together. It is a necessary part of the stereo and to me it is needed.

Missing steps

Used with 2007 f150. Yes you have to remove the rear mounts. No I did not use the spacers. The document does not tell you how to attach the side brackets to the radio? The screws that come with it do not fit , they will strip out your nut plates. Different type of threads.

Glad the brackets came with this but didn’t really need trim ring as the one that ca,e with the radio worked better,had to cut the brackets slightl6 to allow radio to slide in but work great,

Factory level installation in an F-150

This install kit was super easy to use and made installing a double DIN unit into my grandfather's F-150 an absolute breeze and with OEM-level results to boot. I have since bought a kit for my daily driver (Toyota Corolla) and experienced the same results, and will also be purchasing Metra kits for my wife's Rav4 and my Toyota Tacoma.
