Good enough
The kit does not perfectly fit into the stock radio location of my 2004 GS430. Maybe with some work you could cut and/or file the edges and make the fit perfect but I did not want to do that and take a chance of making the edges rough or cause them to look damaged. Looks really good, fits my Pioneer Double din, it's just not a perfect fit which I thought it would be. I would recommend this kit however, because it does do the intended job of being a mounting place for your double din radio.

This in dash kit fit perfectly. It almost looks as if the car came from the factory with this kit. Fit perfectly in my GS300.

It worked
The opening was a bit small for my double din stereo(7"×4") The opening measured 6 3/4"×4" . I used a grider and widened it to accommodate the radio. the sides of the dash kit were also wider and didnt line up well with the HVAC unit so i shaved some off to stream line it and remove any unsightly gaps. I ended up sanding the whole thing smooth to match the texture of the rest of the console before adding paint. The kit arrived matte black with a slight texture to it that looked bad when installed.
If your not afraid to do a little modification this kit will work.
