Needed a bit of a modification for my radio.
I installed this kit with a Pioneer AVIC-Z130BT. Because of the size of the unit I had to trim the lower connecting piece on the kit. This comprimised the structure a bit, but it was a comprimise I had to make in order for everything to fit properly. The kit is pretty basic and while the pieces fit, they don't "lock" together, making reassembling the dash a bit of a handful. The finished install looks great though and once it is all in, its nice and clean.

Did not work
I ordered part but did not work for my application! Top and sides was too big for the factory trim . System that was in the 4runner was jbl synthesis system with double din deck . Packaging states it's for that make but does not fit .
But as for the product for the right application it holds the deck in place very well and is very sturdy.
