Bad fit, difficult to install
I bought this for a 2015 Crosstrek Hybrid. The metal "speed clips" are a little tricky to install, they popped off a couple times and I had to fish them out with a magnet stick. One of the clips broke. The plastic brackets feel flimsy. When you first install it, the resting position is not right. You have to apply pressure to the stereo with a pry tool while tightening the bolts to position it correctly.
Finally installed, there is a small gap, about 2mm at the very bottom where it feels like this should be able to push in further. I've looked at this for awhile and can't figure out what's blocking it. So it doesn't click into place, and it feels "soft" if you push on it.
The glossy black area to the side of the stereo gets scuffed easily. They should have included protective film to be removed after installation. Other than that the finish looks pretty good and matches the car well.
