Fits perfectly on my BMW 528i. All the items are included to have a perfect fit on the car.

Fits perfectly!

This kit (double-din adapter) fit perfectly into a 1998 BMW 528i. The color of the plastic (black) even matched the other black trim in the interior.
if you're thinking of removing the stock radio (mine was DSP), it's worth it. I used a Pioneer AVIC system so now I have built-in GPS, CD player, ipod controls, better radio reception and blue tooth. (Remainder of system to include speakers and the stock amp were also changed out. Probably all for less than a $1000). These adapter kits were $100-$200 up until this kit came out. This is a bargain (that works).

This allowed me to install a double bin stereo with ease. I really like the way the double din looks and the touch screen feature is awesome.

Disappointed

The design is quite wield with a slanted opening window to fit the starndard double-din player. The top opening is at around 177 to 178mm. But the bottom is at around 174mm. A number of players on the market is at 180mm width but mine is at 178mm so it fits fine at top. But the bottom is just too tight to squeze in. I maile the dealer to see if that is a defective item. The asked me to take pictures and then told me that is just the way it was designed. it is understood you want to design a product to fit multiple sized aftermarket players but it could be designed better by a narrow in robber or plastic adjustments.
