This kit is better than the generic department store ones. you can place your trim ring around your stereo unlike the dept. store ones which re-use your existing lower pocket, and then you can't install the stereo trim ring and it leaves exposed metal from your new deck and it looks sloppy. This is a clean one piece kit custom fit that looks sleek.
