This Dash Kit Rocks!

I was apprehensive about changing out my stock radio and having a different look inside. I am now very pleased that I chose the Metra 99-5823CH kit to use with the double-din Kenwood I purchased. This kit is the one for the Mustang that does not already have Sync or NAV in the stock system. The controls for the air conditioning and heater are excellent and the overall fit of the kit is perfect. Color matching is right on, making this dash kit appear to be Ford stock. This item comes highly recommended by me over other brands.

This product should have been made to have the double din radio above the ac knobs. This would give a better look and view of the monitor. Also, this look is more closer to the custom look of the stang with nav...

Great purchase, it fits my 2010 mustang perfectly and matches the factory dash. You can't even tell that its after market. The heater and a.c. controls work great and you can change the color of the background. It has soft buttons and you can customize the text if you want. Easy to install and comes with everything you need to install a new deck. I'm completely satisfied with the product, the only thing I would want is an additional option to have the heater/a.c. controls on the bottom and the deck on top.

Has a few kinks

I can't control the air or heating with the a/c controls maybe it's just a malfunction in it. Hopefully when I get a replacement it'll work fine.

Good product

I have to admit, I had low expectations of this kit; I was pleasantly surprised, though. The kit fits very well, and the grey finish matches the center console perfectly. A huge plus of the temp controller is being able to change the color of the display screen. Good product.

Perfect fit

It was a breeze to install this kit. It works perfectly and had no problems installing it. It came with everything you need to have all the functions working.

Metra Dash Kit

This kit did a great job in my 12' mustang (when I had it), the only issue I had was even with a 7" in-dash unit there was a little gap around the unit that the faceplate didn't cover, aside from that it did a great job and looked better than the stock panel.
