Minor mod and it fits Nissan Grand Livina (Asian vehicle)

I know this product is for a Nissan Cube, but as I was looking for single-din adapter for my vehicle, this was the closest I could find, based on pics I see on the web.

My order arrived several weeks before but I was still undecided on the DEH-80PRS. It arrived well packed and I'm very satisfied with how my order from Sonic went.

Anyway, my head unit arrived today (7/23/2014) so I finally had the chance to test fit this product.

Minor mod I did was to slightly enlarge the screw holes (with a soldering iron) and remove some material from the center for the guide notch (with a coping saw).

I tried to find a way to use the metal mounting sleeve that came with the head unit but there were no appropriate tabs on it I can bend to fix it to the single-din adapter bracket.

It was also not suitable to have the tray underneath the head unit as the front faceplate of the adapter interferes with how much the front face plate of the head unit can open to insert/eject CDs.

Overall, I like how things fits and generally content with the product. However, I'm also thinking of trying the Scosche N1663B (with head unit trim and possibly OEM mounting bracket) and find out which is better.
