Good install

Installed in a 92 Accord. Kit was easy to install and radio is secure with a clean look. The install kit worked perfectly for what I was doing. The only problem I had was that there weren't screws that would thread into the radio (although the kit did incude various screws). However I atribute this to the radio manufacturer who did not incude the spacific mounting screws with the radio despite including other random mounting hardware, so, 5 stars.

Good product/nice fit

Used one of these to install JVC HDR40 head unit in 1991 Honda Accord LX. For that car you only need one piece of the kit ... the big piece with the
"useless" tray underneath the opening for the head unit. Very easy install. Cut off the tabs the instructions tell you to cut off;mount the head unit in the top with the head unit's installation sleeve and snap it in place in the dash.Looks like a factory install ... no sags or gaps. I did use one of the smaller brackets for a support for the back of the head unit ... glued it to the top of the "cd tray." I guess it's not totally useless! Recommend this product ... at least for 1991 Honda Accord LX.

Good value

Worked great in my CR-V.Plastic seems a little flimsy but once everythings mounted its pretty solid.First time ordering from Sonic and I have to say Im impressed,not only with the price but with the fast shipping.Be careful as there are some sharp edges on the plastic!

It works

I recommend it if you understand what you'll need to do. For my 96 Integra it required some extra cutting with a high speed air drill around the bottom edge to get it to sit inside the dash flush and actually snap in. Considering I work in an industry where I need to constantly analyze why things don't work or fit it was easy for me to do, but it definitely wasn't an exact fit until I modified it.

I will only ever buy Metra for all of my wire harness, speaker harness etc because of their build quality. Without naming any names I have used some other cheaper brands but its true what they say, you get what you pay for. With metra they use high quality built to last plastic and this kit is no different! Only need the small trim piece for my '98 civc but this kit is well worth it! Detailed instructions included for multiple Honda models!

Easy install, clean look, good price.

Was unsure at first when trying to install this kit into my desk. But after test fitting and looking at what tabs to cut and all. Was able to snap/slide everything in and came out looking really good. Used this kit on my 98 honda cr-v when replacing the stock radio.
