Works well for Parrot Asteroid

I would definitely recommend this product for Smart Car owners looking to upgrade to an aftermarket audio system. I used this kit to install the Parrot Asteroid (single DIN) system. The only problem I had not being able to snap over the surrounding frame since the front of the Asteroid has a larger face than most single DIN systems. I was able to make one of the openings in the tray larger to feed through the iPod/iPhone and USB connections. Installation looks clean.

Worked fine

Everything fits fine and I had no trouble with installation. My only minor nitpick is that this item uses an outer ring piece that attaches to your dashboard, and an inner ring "adapter" piece that is specifically for Double DIN (or single, or whichever setup you have). These two snap together before you install it. The connection is firm and solid when installed. However, you do see the seam, and it doesn't look "factory." It's not distracting at all, but if you don't want the seam, buy a product made only for the size stereo you're installing.

Perfect Product!

I would definitely recommend this for any Smart owner that plans on making any audio/video addition. This casing fit my Pioneer AVH perfectly and was quite easy to install. Plus, it was much cheaper than other places that I looked and comes with different installation options whether you need something for a double din or single.
