It works..
I'm an MECP Certified installer, and I've used just about every kit there is. This kit get's the job done, for the most part. Even after meticulous adjustment, there is a large sized gap above the kit that makes everything look a little tacky. The kit also isn't very strong. If you install it you'll see what I mean. It just sort of seats into place and doesn't feel very sturdy.
I had the gray colored dash in my 2005 Jaguar X-Type, and the paint match was pretty much dead on. The kit comes with a decent looking pocket, but the pocket doesn't really latch in very well.
