Exactly as expected!
This Midland ER102 is just what I had hoped for! I have had difficulty programing Midlands previously and thought I was taking a chance of a similar experience...but this radio has proved to be reliable and a good fit for me. It has enough options for attention signals to weather situations, so I feel comfortable keeping it functioning even while sleeping. Yet serves as a quality radio that can hold a digital station without having to "hunt" for a stronger signal--even take it outdoors to accompany me for projects! Not too big and clunky for day-to-day shifting. So far, I'm very pleased.
