Product works just as advertised and suits my purposes perfectly. My second battery drives a heavy duty wench, fog lights, and stereo system and the NVX BIR500 has been keeping it well charged. It was easy and quick to install. The only thing I wish it came with would be rubber caps for the posts. I accidentally tapped them more than once, causing sparks (that's why the 3 under 'look/design'), Before I wrapped them in electrical tape. Other than that I've very happy with it.

Great equipment for the price

Had my profesional installler put in in line between my batteries (which are in parallel), works like it should with no probloms. Can't beat the price for a 500 amp isolator!

NVX BIR500

If you're a fan of NVX and need a high amperage isolator then this is the one to get. I'm currently running 0 gauge through it to my XS power battery and it does the job, no problems yet after using it for 6 months.

I have 2 15's a 220 amp alternator. In a o7 mariner, this product did very very well until now. I have 3 meters connected to everything, so I watched it fail after 9 ish months (more ish).

My main car battery stopped getting a full charge down .5. Then the 2nd battery was down 1.0.

When the subs got going. My 2nd battery was taken 2.0 power drops max... depending how hard I was hitting. BUT my main battery was losing 1.0 drops also sometimes more.

Brand new, my main battery never lost voltage ever.

Great product!! Jusy wont last forever, currently. (Test was done today)... meter test. Testing taking on isolator... main battery cable terminal to ground ( on isolator)= 13.5.. wire to 2nd battery to ground (on isolator) 9.0.

Subs are dead until iso is replaced. I do recommend this product. Its 50 bucks lol. 9 months of solid no worried play, 2 months of failing but working. Then within a month completely failure. Timing is all estimates

Worked great with my XS D3400 battery to my batteries in the trunk

I have a HO alternator connected to my XS D3400 via Big 3 and this Relay isolator to (3) of my XP750SE trunk batteries and it does a great job.. no extreme voltage drops! Installs easily and a Quality product! NVX is excellent!!

Great Product

Bought this to isolate my camper battery bank from my truck's batteries. I have 1/0 guage cable from the charging system of my truck to the camper. This 500 amp relay lets me charge my camper batteries without risking my truck batteries. Perfect!

Solid product but not perfect

I would recommend the product but wish the packaging had included wiring instructions. Also, if you overtighten the nuts on the lugs it's easy to crack the plastic housing.

I wanted to first off say Sonicelectronix is great to work with. The shipment of this 500A relay/isolator was quick. It looks just as it does in the pics. I love how they set me up with a personal account with them for future wants and needs.

As far as this relay/isolator it is a must to keep your starter battery from being drained. Even if you are using an XS Power D3400 AGM, it still needs isolated from the sound system battery. It is easy to install. Thanks guys! Scott
