Very flexible and durable. True gauge. Used this to wire up my amps and also used some of it to do the "big 3." I liked NVX so much that I stripped out all my speaker wiring and bought 16 gauge NVX wire and ran that instead.

Made a Difference

Hi all. I decided to try this wire. Because of the Price I decided to Upgrade my Ground wires from 4 Gauge. Both the Capacitor and from the Battery to Ground (Body). Afterwards I noticed the Voltmeter on the Capacitor increased slightly. About .2V. When I get enough money, I am Upgrading the Power (+) wiring. BTW, I am running Kicker IX500.1. And plan on Upgrading to the IX1000.5. So I want to get the Wiring (To the Cap) done first. And like others have said, This wire for being 1/0 Gauge is Very Flexible. Which I am surprised at since I have never used this gauge before.

True Gauge

Big ground wire, extremely flexible for a 0 gauge wire and in my opinion it surpasses the 0 gauge wire standards. Great product from NVX once again.

I purchased five foot of the NVX 1/0 to finish my big three upgrade. I have all stinger 1/0 throughout my car and I can honestly say that the NVX is thicker and more durable. It's extremely flexible and not that expensive, I will buy from NVX again.

Have not actually owned or used this particular product, but i have used and seen nvx wire. great wire. the only issue that i see with this is that you made need additional ring terminals depending on your application, and if you don't have a fuse block for your alternator charge wire that can be modified for this upgrade, you will have to purchase one extra. Other than that, great product

I studied for quite a while for the best & cheapest 0 gauge cable. I picked this one because it had 4707 strands, flexibility and the colors matched my car. At the NVX site they are very much more expensive. I highly recommend the 20 ft. rolls for the best deal. They are still cheaper than other high grade brand names. On ebay they sell Cadence much cheaper but with much less strands and I don't know about their flexibility.

This is a very sharp looking terminal and it works well with 1/0 wire. It works especially well with the wire from NVX amp kits as the NVX 1/0 wire tends to be a little bigger than other brands. It is heavy and sturdy and it is very versatile because it can accept 2 1/0 or 4 gauge wire and 1 8 or 4 gauge wire as well.

Feels as solid as it looks. Will most definitely be using more of these in future projects.

Actually love the allen set screws

Every distro block or big-wire connector should have this style of allen set screw for solid, tight but not over tightened connection. Doesn't strip out like philips head screws. Been quite pleased with the choices NVX has made in their distro block and battery terminal products. Appear to be very much among Sonic's best offerings.

Criticisms: One terminals, the back screw holding the cover fell out and was lost. The neg post on my battery was smaller so the terminal barely tightens but does cinch down ok.

Save some cash and buy the pair (+/-). Wish I had seen the two-pack.

The wire on this kit is insanely thick. Great quality. The wire cutters are great for cutting and stripping and the terminals make the installation look great. The ring terminals may cause issue depending on where you're placing them. They were too thick to fit on my alternator but a little time with a metal grinder fixed that. Great kit!

Excellent Quality!

This ring terminal is of excellent build quality. It has a large set screw and comes with both a red and a black rubber identifier on a single terminal so you are able to remove the unneeded color. I would recommend additional heat shrink as the entire terminal is conductive. Also please be aware that the ring terminal itself has a 5/16” ring and there’s not too much more room to increase the size. With that in mind, I would still buy again due to the excellent quality and performance.

Great wire

I have used this wire pretty extensively in my car. It is on par with any top name wire out there. True to spec AWG, true OFC copper, very flexible, nice jacket, decent price. Not much more I can ask for. I like to use 0 gauge ring terminals with solder and heat shrink, which I would recommend for any power and ground terminations.

Stinger messed up

This terminal is great, if you get the right one. As you can see in the enclosed pictures, Stinger has both of these terminal in boxes labeled the same with the same part number, but when you open the packages, there are two different terminals. This is not sonicelectronix's fault at all. It's stinger's quality control

Not what I expected

I have another brands 0 gauge ran from battery back to the amp. I needed to extend the wire for my new install. This NVX XW0 wire almost looks like a 2 gauge next to my existing 0 gauge. If you want to take full advantage of your systems ability and you need 0 gauge, I would recommend spending the money for the higher quality wire as it truly has a thicker interior to the wire. Otherwise this wire does do the job and is easier to bend/work with than higher priced 0 gauge.

These cutters are amazing. I didn't expect much when I saw them for the first time, they were smaller than I though they would be. They cut 0/1 gauge cable like butter.

dont judge a book by its cover...

Well when i saw these online they looked decent and had good reviews so i opted to get them seeing i was going to do my BIG 3 upgrade soon. When i received them, however, i wasn't sure they were right. These things are tiny!!! It doesn't even look like they can handle 1/0 gauge wire. So i reluctantly decided to test cut some wire and went in for what i thought would be "the big squeeze". Heres where my title chimes in. I do not think you could cut through butter with a hot knife as easily as these things sliced through my 1/0 gauge wire. I was shocked at how precise the cut was and that the wire did fit right into the end of the pliers perfectly. These things are what you need to cut anything up to 1/0 gauge with NO effort at all, highly recommended! The only drawback is, the little locking latch on them will unlock with the slightest touch of the pliers, so i recommend keeping these things somewhere where children or pets or anything can touch them, because i can literally sit them on a table locked and pound on the table and they will unlock, but functionality is awesome! :D

These wire cutters worked better then I had imagined when buying them. No matter what the size of wire you need to cut these wire cutters cut with ease. I started by cutting 8 giraffe wire when working my subwoofers in the box and it cut like butter. I then wondered how easy a 0 gauge wire would cut so I grabbed a scrap cutoff I had of 0 gauge and these cutters cut through like slicing butter I was impressed. I have been wondering why I dident purchase these sooner it would have helped a lot with past builds I have done.

I'm not a fan of the hook on the side and I might grind this off.

Slices through high-strand 0-gauge like it was celery. You can also use the sharp cutting edges to strip the wire jacket...very useful. I searched many places for an electrician-grade cutter like this, and only found very expensive tools (over $80). They probably would do the job, but not as well as the CC-06, since they're designed for low-strand wire.

Great Cutters

I purchased these with my big 3 kit and since have upgraded my system quite a bit adding a lot of 1/0 gauge. it has given me no trouble with cutting or stripping it. only complain is the saftey does hold that well.

Be carefull!

For cutting zero gauge wiring these are a must have. Cuts monster 400 series and lesser wire like butter. Be carefull with these you could cut your finger off with very little effort no joke these are super sharp. For this price all i can say is buy them. Im going to buy a secound pair just incase i break these.

Awesome product with an amazing look!!

This product not only makes your custom installation look like a million bucks, it makes a huge difference in the retention of power to your amplifiers. When we installed these NVX battery terminals the system seemed to maintain steady power with very little if any drops in voltage compared to the stock terminals on our GMC. Now I know it's not the only reason this happened, but along with the NVX 1/0 gauge oxygen free 100% virgin copper wire, it's match as close to perfect as you can get.

Great cutter for power cabling. I've used it so far to make cuts on AWG 4,2 and 1/0 gauge cable. These cutters go through even the 1/0 like a hot knife through butter leaving a smooth cut end. VERY impressed for the small.

I've been using my klein wire cutters for years to splice my wire and this tool makes it so much easier to work with larger gauge wire. It cuts through 1/0 with ease and seems durable.

Yes:

A) I am that much of a nerd.
B) They do actually work that well.

I even tested these bad boys on some Memphis 0GA and it lopped through it like it was over-shielded 8GA.

These should be in everyone's toolbox, even if you don't deal with wire on a regular basis.

Aside from handily dispatching even the thickest wire, they are just as useful to snipping through the shielding to remove it. A very modest amount of pressure is necessary to get through the shielding. One light squeeze, rotate the wire, give a second and you have a very clean cut through the shielding only if you do it right; may take a couple tries since these are SHARP!

My only complaint is the lock for them is finicky and doesn't work that well.

That gripe aside you need a pair of these cutters!
