Best bang for the buck

DO NOT buy Non-Name brand kits that are under 50$, Get this one, NVX is a brand name and they don't cut corners on their products. This kit is everything I needed to install my 12" Rockford Fosgate sub, The gauge is true to spec, everything is fine, the RCA cables are top notch, highly recommend

Great upgrade speakers!

I installed four of these in my wife's Mercury Mountaineer to replace the factory speakers The sound is much better than the factory set and actually sound as good or better than any other 6x8's I have ever heard. Bass response is pretty good and clean for rock and country music and the tweeter sounds great, nice and crisp as it should be. Overall I am very happy with the sound and performance. I would buy these again without a second thought in the future for factory replacements and even on a small amp. I have these running directly off of a Soundstream VR-650B head unit.

The Real Deal

I originally purchased this kit because it was a good price and I liked the idea of having true-gauge wire. I was leery of the stuff at my local store as it looked a little cheap. Lots of plastic and not much wire. Not the case here. This is a high-quality wiring kit that gets you everything you need for a basic amp install. Convenient markings on the wire to help you lace the fuse holder and measure your speaker wire. High quality covering and wire, very flexible and plenty of length to help you do a quality job. The connectors supplied could be a little better, but they did do the job. It is nice they are stiff metal, but hand-crimping effectively was a little rough. That is a minor complaint.

I have since purchased a second kit for another amp and from now on NVX is a go-to brand for me.

Purchased to install 2 pairs of Pioneer TS-D6802R in my 2007 Mustang GT with Shaker 500. Made the install easy. Make sure to check the alignment of the conductors when plugging into the car's harness. The pins of the Metra plug kept pushing out of the connector.
Plenty of slack for the install. Zip tie everything down.

I recently installed four of these in my 94 mazda with an Alpine head unit and they sound as good if not better than speakers I've payed double for. The bass response is surprising for only running off my head unit and the highs are nice and crisp. The vocal frequency is where these speakers really stand out. I would by the N series from NVX again and again. simply a great speaker at an absurdly low price.

2014 F-150 speaker upgrade

I ordered direct replacement speakers from Sonic Electronix for my 2014 F-150, I just wanted something more reliable then the factory speakers, I purchased the NVX-NSP68 install was simple and they sound great. Sonic's website was user friendly and shipping was on time.

Ford Speaker Connectors

Work great if you can plug them in without breaking then by pushing the wires through the back. They come two per package, I found if you bend the black wires prong down just a little they plug in pretty easy. I broke 3 on the drivers door on my 02 f350 after that I got the hang of them fortunately I bought twice as many as I needed on accident so I still have two unbroken ones left.

Overall great product for the buck. Much better sound quality over stock speakers. Didn't notice a difference in sound quality between stock and nvx until adding a 300 watt amp to power 4 of these speakers in my 06' ford explorer. I installed a Clarion XC1410Compact 4-channel amplifier — 50 watts RMS x 4, and it woke the speakers up. Sounds great and gets loud. No problems so far. Matched these speakers with two 10inch kicker cvr102 subs 400rms dvc wired at 2ohms with a 600 watt amp. Happy with these speakers, I would buy nvx again.

The port makes all the difference!

I swapped out an SSL 8 inch powered sub for this ported NVX sub in my wife's Outlander. I have it positioned under the front passenger seat, with an RCA adapter to the factory headunit. Holy smokes, this sub blew the old sub out of the water! Obviously this thing isn't meant to shake mirrors, but the lows are much more pronounced, thankfully without any port noise. I've been running it for a couple weeks now and it started to really come alive a couple days after install. Very happy with this sub!

No brainer product

This product is a no brainer product when replacing speakers in a Ford unless you are using an amp. Makes the install a simple plug and play.

Well worth the money. So easy swapping out the factory speakers with these speaker adapter wires. Just plug and play. Sweet! Nothing to complain about! Was jamming to my tunes in a matter of minutes and still retain the factory wiring with no splicing!

Great Product

I recommend that everyone use these adapters. It allows you to install aftermarket speakers quickly without compromising your factory wiring. Later if you decide to reinstall your factory speakers you can easily do so by unplugging the adapter and plugging your factory harness back into the speakers.

Worth the price

I've always been a hardwire kind of guy. The only problem with that is it gets to be a pain splicing wires and makes it a pain to uninstall speakers. The 72-5600 makes the job a snap - saves time, frustration, and retains the factory connectors. I'll use them again when the time comes!

Take it easy with these.

On my '01 F-150 supercrew, I ran into an issue with these on two of my four speakers (both back ones, for reasons unknown). In trying to get the adapter into the door fitting, one of the pins was pushed back through the adapter and fell out. Basically, you're going to want to wiggle the snot out of it in pretty much every direction when putting it in (I know, that's what she said), or it'll make it a total PITA to get both pins attached correctly. Maybe some dielectric grease would help.

Whatever. Just use caution and don't get to rowdy.

These handy-dandy items make installation a breeze. Would not think of doing it without them. Don't be cheap, spend the money so you don't have to chop up the factory wiring.

I would recommend this product, it is working wonderful for me, if your looking for a clean look while installing new speakers In your vehicle, this would be it, I am not one to have some kind of messy look after doing this kind of work, I like my stuff to look clean, neat, and be able to hide it easily without any worries.

Made speaker instillation easy

Used these to install two Pioneer TS-A6885R speakers in my 2010 Ford fusion se. The wires came pre crimped, just had to plug wire ends into speakers and factory harness. This made the instillation quick and easy. Definitely worth the extra little bit of cash.

Wow Just Wow!

Well these things were bought cause I blew the stock front speakers with the Jensen Vx3200 head unit I installed. First the price is unbeatable for a product like this, the power I had to them at full blast to just the front withheld all the power to them and was not a single type of distortion. So I then made it even again and went threw many types of music rock, rap, House, all were awesome heard the highs and lows of all the noises I never even heard in some clubs. I love rock on them cause you can really enjoy the guitar and drums clearly. Anyways I don’t have nothing bad to say about these since I haven’t tested the longevity of them yet but awesome so far loving them.

Metra made the install of my aftermarket speakers quick and easy. The quality of the product was tight; leaving me with excellent reproduction from my high-end pioneer speakers and no issues after 6 months from installation.

The days of cutting your speaker harness are gone. These connectors are well worth the cost for ease of installation and not having to cut your existing harness. If you ever decide to reinstall the factory speakers because you are selling the vehicle or it is leased, all you have to do is unplug the harness connectors and the original speakers plug back in. Did the job... in my 2010 Ford Taurus All speakers.

They worked and with a little shaping even fit the slightly different tweeter connectors. You have to hold them right when snapping in because the plug leads/wires have a habit of wanting to push out.

Made install a breeze, for the most part

These speaker adapters are on the best things you can purchase if you're powering your main speakers with your head unit. There's no need to splice wires, you just plug and play. The only downside to these were that there are two common sizes for (+) terminals, and these had the smaller size, while the speakers they were hooked up to were the larger ones. I had to do some chopping to get everything to fit, but it's been on there for over 6 months with no problems. The install in my 2006 Ford Focus was so much easier thanks to these Metra adapters.

I read up on line that there were adapters to easily install aftermarket speakers in my truck. Goggled the part needed and Sonic came up by far the cheapest in price and shipping was free. Works ok...

I bought these to install 4 aftermarket mids and 2 tweeters in my 2010 Taurus. They work ok. When you are trying to plug them into your speakers the wire/prongs keep pushing out of the connector bracket but if you hold them right you can connect. One thing nice -the tweeters were a different connector but if you cut the metra's plastic connector a bit and rotate them in the other way they would fit. This was convenient because I assumed all connectors were the same for Taurus speakers.

It was meant to be

Bought these for a '13 f150 for a direct stock replacement. With the lower rated rms, it makes these speakers a great option to be ran off of a stock radio and or stock amp, or just aftermarket radio. They have a higger sensitivity so they are able to get louder on lower wattage than some other speakers. They are super clear when tuned correctly and have a nice mildly bright tweeter that doesnt over power the vocals. Great buy

These speakers do take a couple weeks to A month to break in fully, but after they do they sound amazing. Performance well above there price point. The bass is nothing that will rattle your ear drums, but they will cary a great mid bass through its range, and has amazing clarity on the mids and high notes. To make these absolutely amazing simply add in the subwoofer of your liking, and let the speakers blow your mind. So glad I purchased these instead of the other expensive sets I had my eyes on before.

Good sound for an amazing price!

These are in a 2001 f150 ext cab. For about 2 weeks I had them running off my pioneer deck with no amp and no subs and they sounded pretty good. Smooth highs strong mid and surprising amount of bass for no amp, it's not sub quality bass, but it's pretty good.

This weekend I was able to hook them up to my 5 channel (planet audio 5 channel 100w per speaker, gain is turned down) and a couple 10" shallow subs. These things woke up! Even stronger mids, smoother and stronger highs and without the subs a good amount of bass (actually got my mirror moving a little). These fill in great with subs.

The only down fall is I think they could be a little stronger in the mids, especially if you had a giant sub setup. But that's subjective to everyone's ears. My listening is more balanced, so I'm never putting a wall of subs in my truck and expecting cheap speakers to keep up.

Overall, without comparing in person to all the speakers in this categor I feel these are hard to beat for the price. They are well constructed and sound good, what more can you ask for at this price point?

The speakers mounted easily. I had a small issue with which was pos. terminal or neg.on the speaker. I not experienced in this area if speaker had a label instead of the picture in the booklet, which seamed generic and not specific to the speakers install would have been a breeze. Sound quality was good. I will be adding an amp soon to get a little more out of them. Overall if your looking for decent sound quality for a great price you cant go wrong picking these up.

Great install kit.

This is a great install kit for the price, and true OFC! The fuse block is well built although I wish they included a backup fuse instead of the one already preinstalled. The only thing I had to do is I removed the wire loom from the power cable since I was running the cable through a cable gland on my firewall and I didn’t want any water leaks. I also used the excess power cable I had since I had about 4.5 feet of it and I used that as my ground connection. I don’t know why manufacturers give such a short amount of cable for the ground connection. I know it’s not proper to use the same colored wire as the power and ground but since I already know where the cables go, I’m not worried about it.

NIce wiring kit

I bought this wiring kit to compliment my NVX MVPA1 amplifier. The wiring is very flexible and high grade. The only problem I had was that the spade connectors for power were too big to fit in the screw terminals of the amplifier. I had to file them down in order to get them to fit.

Easy connection

Used these connectors to install after market speakers and it made the job simple. They just plug in to the existing wires for a easy connection. No splicing or tape needed either.

I had this installed by Best Buy and the installer was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the product he had used NVX stuff in the past but not this particular install set and stated they use nice thick quality wires with great insulation. A must-have item!

I was on the fence with buying these at first, as I had a wiring diagram for my car and knew which factory wires were positive and negative. After using them, I can confidently say that they are worth the extra money. They made installing my new speakers idiot-proof! You literally cannot mess up your install with these. Just put the big connector on the big speaker tab, the little connector on the little speaker tab, plug the whole thing into the factory harness,and you're done. Takes all the guesswork out of the install and makes replacing speakers in the future much easier.

Works but...

Had to cut the connectors off. They didn't fit spades on the Rockford Fosgate speakers I installed in place of the stock speakers. Had to cut the connectors off and use regular stay-cons (F connectors). Plugged into the stock harness with solid connections though.

Great factory replacement

2001 f150 supercrew I replaced all 4 of my door speakers. For the price you can't beat these speakers. They are a well built. Although the packaging is cheap I guess that's where they crest the savings to pass on. I am very happy with them. Would definitely buy them again.

This wiring kit is perfect to power a Kicker CXA300.1 (43CXA3001), especially since I got it 50% off when bundled with the amp. All wires are high quality and very flexible while still being true to their gauge thickness. The power wire comes with about 4 ft. of mesh loom pre-installed, which is nice when running it from the battery through the firewall. The power and ground wires also come with ring terminals pre-installed, even more simplifying the installation. I already have NVX 6X9 and decided to put these in my door. The sound is so clear and the bass is Amazing! Speaker adaptor harness

Ok, these were purchased for my daughters 2002 Ford Focus ZTS - they work fine with one issue.
When you pull the factory speaker out of the harness the factory speakers are clearly marked with a positive and a negative symbol to denote which side is which polarity. The adaptor harness will only fit in one way and this is were the problem comes in, when plugging in the adaptor harness into the factory harness the adaptor harness flips the polarity.
In short what should be positive is now negative and vice versa with the negative side.
When using just make sure of where your polarity's are and how the adaptor connects to your new speakers.

I installed these in a '96 Ford Mustang. The installation was very easy and there wasn't any fitment issues. They sound pretty good on the factory amp with an aftermarket head unit. I unhooked the tweeters on these because the factory amp for the 6x8 location doesn't play any highs. But as far as bass reproduction, they sound pretty good. They do not sound sloppy like some small speakers. They have a nice punchy sound to them. I decided to go with these because of the RMS power and the price. The owner didn't need a component set. Just needed to replace the 6x8s and since there wasn't any reputable company that only sell the 6x8s alone without being a coaxial or component set, this was the next best option. Customer is very pleased with the outcome and they sound better than the Kicker CSC684s that were replaced.

Clarity at last

I have a 2007 Mustang convertible, a base model (not the Shaker). I replaced the speakers and assumed I would need a new head unit as well. But I was suddenly able to hear the bass and pick out details in familiar songs that I couldn't hear with my $5000+ stereo in my house. I think the old stereo was fine - the speakers needed this upgrade.
