I’ll start by saying my product did seem to arrive defective and was missing some important parts that would come with a brand new product. Bass knob was completely broken upon arrive(could here multiple parts inside it rattling around) and was missing the 4awg to 8 awg adapters completely. The amp was claimed to be bench tested by sonic electronix before being shipped out to me… and now we get into their quality control. It’s bad, it’s a 5 channel amp and the gain knob and other filter knobs on the amp we’re completely dead and didn’t change anything. My 4 speaker channels worked perfectly fine. All my issues are contained to the sub channel where none of the knobs work and the amp put out maybe 30 watts of power to the sub(with zero filters working) at full tilt. Almost like it was just passing power through it from the pre amp. I had the amp for two months before I could install it so as per the policy I’ve missed my return window. But for an amp that said it was bench tested in house at Sonic electronix…it should not be dead on arrival nor missing key components out of the box. Defective products happen but this experience with sonic has been frustrating(which sucks because I’ve had good experiences with them in the past) and I think I’ll stop doing business with this company for now on since their quality control and customer service can leave you hanging.
