Good for what it costs
Bought this for my 2017 focus st3 to replace the weak factory sub. I paired it with a with the NVX xad12 which is 500w rms at 4ohm. The sub sounds good but is not as loud as I expected it to be, but I did do the installation myself and haven't tuned the amp right yet. My only issue with this amp is the mounting bracket that comes with it is super soft, and it doesn't feel very secure. So I had to add a bungee cord to keep it from moving. The mounting is the only reason I give it 4 stars in design and durability, because it really needs to have 2 mounting points.

Factory finish, not factory fit
The sub itself is fine, but the enclosure is not well designed at all. Like other reviews mentioned online, the insert on the rear of the box is threaded to go on the 6mm bolt attached to the side of the trunk. Only issue is there's no way to thread a stationary nut onto a stationary bolt. I had to drill out said nut and use a long nutsert to fully reach the threaded post.
Additionally, the box itself has lots of glue around the corner of the carpeting which is quite unsightly.
The instructions (available online, not in the box) also mentioned some extra hardware that was not included. Not sure how that could have resolved the rear nut/post issue, but everything that was necessary for the other mounting point was in the box.

Great Setup For Factory Location
I was originally going to get this along with the nvx line converter and amp package but decided to get those first in an attempt to see what the factory sub could do. Massive mistake! Immediately ordered this to replace that horrible thing and i wish i got this with the package from the get go. Install was a breeze and i was up and running within 30 mins, nice accurate and deep bass. Mounting bracket seems chincy but once you get the nut to the fenderwell tight the thing will not move. Very impressed.
