NVX VSW122v2 (VSW122 v2)

This subwoofer is AWESOME! I'm even saying this after trying both the XQW and VCW 12". I love the XQW but it is too big to fit in my Underseat, 1.85 cu ft vented Dodge Ram Fox Acoustics box, so I went with the VCW. I like precision and SQ, and the VCW wasn't responsive enough. It is DEFINITELY an SPL subwoofer and can move massive amounts of air. I was hesitant to try this one since it's a lesser model than those two, but I am SUPER pleased with it's tight response for rock music and it's booming sound for rap and electronic. For it's price it is a contender with models in the $200 price range!

Of 2 ohms.. (Pushing 600 watts to each woofer). So far i have no regrets about my purchase.
Sure you can spend alot more on woofers but for my application for my daily driver these are great.

I'm running this off a NVX NDA102 amplifier @ 1ohm in sealed box. Sounds amazing and slams so hard I need to amplify my door speakers now. Great subwoofer for the price.

For the price you won't find a better woofer! This thing hits the bass I was looking for without breaking the bank!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PIECE!!!!!!!!

first timer with the NVX VSW122v2 so I purchased two of these with the grills NVX NV12GR for my 2012 impala which are currently in a sealed enclosure Sealed Box Volume 1.25 powered by a alpine 1200 RMS mono-block wired to a final impedance Of 2 ohms Pushing 600 watts to each woofer. they sound dam good

I’ve heard these subs before and they are good quality subs for an affordable price.

just the right amount of power for small price

i just wanted to spend $100 and was looking to get used. but i need to match my speaker so i 700 watt rms. i was not picky as i did not need much bass. i like sound quality more than loudness. but buying new is way more easy than buying used. most used amp ran about the same price or more. I had the mvx for 2 month now it doing ok.

Awesome Sub

I bought 2 and put them in a custom box with a used kicker 750w amp. These subs absolutely slam. The range is good and the bass is clean I would recommend to anyone looking for some extra thump

Good Price, great power like the spec, wiring connection are made with good quality material, many adjustements, i'm run it with 2 subwoofer DVC in to 2 ohms by channel many hour and no over heating and still stable. Look like old style amp of 2000 and heavy pound. Maybe for the next generation add feature of remote sub level. Overall very good sub amp for the price. Remains to be seen over time its longevity and quality of manufacture

Bought for home subs

awesome subs

I have a 10-inch dvc nvx and it is awesome! I use it in my suv. I decided my 12" Kenwood subs were just not enough. they were distorting at higher volumes indicating the subs couldn't handle the amp. so I installed these and opened them up. They were so loud it shook every bay door in my shop and knocked the snow off the roof I'd say I pushed around 600-700 watts! downside is.. I pushed my old xr900-5 amp too hard it is dead LOL Oh well! I have a jp95 5 channel down4sound amp shipping in.

Bought 4 of these amps off Amazon December 28, 2022. Did some bench testing for low voltage protection, high voltage protection, and speaker output short circuit protection. Amplifier passed with flying colors. Next was sound quality test which is purely subjective. I am very particular with sound quality. I will put these amps up against my old school Phoenix Gold M series amps any day of the week. Plain and simple I am blown away by the performance of these amplifiers ESPECIALLY for the price point. Very warm sounding. Very reliable. Very powerful. Surprisingly does not get hot running at 4 ohm stereo. That is surprising for any class A/B amplifier. This review is coming from a 47 year old car audio enthusiast that started the journey at 14 years of age.

Worth it

I have to admit I was a little worried about first choosing this amp, but I found out it was 100% worth it. The only thing I am a little surprised by would be the size, it looks a lot smaller in the photos rather than in person. So expect to make some room for it, and the fan works great too!

Great sound and impact

I bought this sub to match up with my JBL Club A600 amp. Sounds very good in a large ported box. It hits the notes hard, and with impact. Its missing some of the low end 30-35 hz tones, but thats due to the box tuning at 42-43hz, not the subwoofer. A great value for the money. It weights between 15-16 pound. Highly recommend.

So I needed a little 2 channel 2 ohm amp to run a pair of old rockfords. This amp is the was by far the best bang for the buck I could get while on sale. Great performance and a cooling fan on the bottom to boot. I have the 4 channel in my other vehicle and its been running strong and loud for over a year now!

Great sub

The main feature I was looking for was the dual 2 ohm vc. 12's usually don't have that option and if it does they are expensive. This NVX sub drops to 20 hz and sounds great, wired to 1 ohm connected to a Rocford Fosgate 1200 D amp and this sub hits hard and deep.
