Amazing amp

Although this amp is on the bigger side I still love it, no distortion from any of the speakers and gives plenty of power to my subwoofer, if your thinking about buying it just buy it you won't be disappointed.

Not quite as advertised

This is not a class D amp. The sub channel is but the front 4 are class A/B. The total power as stated is misleading, not 1480 watts but actually 980 or so per the manual. Spend the extra 100 bucks for the vad 11005. It's smaller and marine rated, I have two and love them. NVX is good stuff but I thought I was getting more than I bought.

Overall happy with it. Although the marine 5 channel is better as it’s all class D this is a/b on 4 channels & only sub channel is class d.

This review is more for the packaging , or lack there of, than anything else. I purchased an amp and sub for a later install, I was going to install it in a few months, but because of the lack of packaging I am worried that the amp won’t work or at least prematurely quit so I will be installing it sooner. A double din head unit, a 5 channel amp, and a 12” sub were placed in a cardboard box roughly the size of a 100qt cooler and shipped to ga from Kentucky, yeah, not good! All the boxes are busted and split open and when I called to complain Sonic said that it was Fed Ex’s responsibility and that I needed to call them, Not, granted FedEx sucks but it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand……That a Big Box with 3 smaller boxes inside and NO packaging material equals DAMAGE!
