I have had a few sub from other makers and this one so far has been the best. Best in quality of sound and it has a higher RMS than most. The other ones lasted only a few months and burnt out. Amp settings were correct too. I would recommend JL.

Excellent peformance for the price!

I would much rather have bought a 10w3 or better, but I needed the space as this is single 10 in an under seat box in my truck. I have always liked the performance that JL Audio provides and this sub is no exception. I really missed a little bit of bump when I listen to old school rap, but I did not need the thunder. With the stuff I listen to, mostly metal, and rock with a mix of older rap and some reggae I am very pleased with the quality of the bass now, and I am able to set crossover points on other speakers that help the overall system sound better.

These subs rock!

I recently bought 2 of these 10" JL subs and they sound amazing! They are in a custom sealed box behind my rear seat in my crew cab superduty and they bump plenty hard. I have them hooked up to a 500 rms Rockford fosgate amp and with the remote amp knob I can turn them all the way down so it's such subtle bass that it doesn't overpower the music if your not in the mood to jam. Overall I'm very impressed with these subs. They sound clean and no distortion.

I installed this sub with a JL amp that has only 200w and this speaker is so efficient that it preforms beautifully!

Poor sound

Replaced a single JL Audio 8W3v3 with two of these 10W1v3 subs and I am not impressed. I figured going with two larger subs I would get more bass and more sound but the single 8W3 sounds and performs better in every way. I am very disappointed with these subs and would not recommend them.

Solid enclosure!

Box is very well made. It has internal bracing, and includes polyfill that’s already glued to the internal panels. The enclosure is air tight as well, no air leaks whatsoever.

Hands down the best

I have these in my F250 under the back seat with a Rockford Fosgate amp to the stock head unit and they sound awesome! Highly recommend. And I have to mention buying through sonic was not only super easy, best price around, and shipped faster than I even expected! 10 ??
