Great deal, buy it, but try a different box later

I bought two of these. It's a great deal, for only slightly more than the sub costs you get a super nice box. The box is REALLY nice, it's very professionally made and all the wooden parts are 3/4 MDF with all the joints sealed tight. The sub is excellent, probably the best out there for anywhere near its' price. The one thing you should know about this combo though is that the sub really wants a bigger box that's ported in order to get loud, and since this box is not quite big enough, make sure you do not give the sub more than the RMS wattage of 350 watts, with this box if you give it more than that it will bottom out. But still buy the combo, it produces excellent sound, very clean, tight bass. It's the kind of bass you can really feel, my Jeep was flexing pretty good with these. Hair tricks are nothing for a pair of these subs, they will move everything in your car and make it a little harder to breathe. Like I said though, these really want a ported box, cause in these boxes I can only hit 100 db. I'm sure my meter is not perfectly accurate, but using the same meter with my previous subs I easily hit 120 db (those were in the recommended box though). But, I would buy this combo rather than just the sub because then you get a really super nice box that you can use with some other sub for only a little bit more.
