Excellent Product!

I did a lot of researching around when I was looking for a 4 channel amp wiring kit, and I started noticing NVX products popping up quite frequently. I couldn't be more happy with this kit and the quality of the NVX products. The "Flexibility" in the wiring is really something you have to feel and NVX does such a good job with packaging, presentation, and making you feel like this is a high quality product. The design of this product is like nothing I have seen in amplifier wiring and I have really bought into this brand after purchasing a few of their products.

Powerful little monster

Purchased this amp on a whim. I tried looking for more reviews before dropping the coin, but couldn't find any on other sites. After receiving the amp and installing it, all I can say is my door speakers sound WAY better than being run off of deck power. I initially had a set of Kenwood KFC-P710PS components in the front, Kenwood Excelon KFC-X174 coax's in the rear running off of a Sony MEX-XB120BT. With the speakers now being powered by the NVX-VADM4 amp they are much more detailed and louder. I didn't think that such a small amp would be able to deliver enough power to make them sound as good as they do now. If you have a vehicle with confined space or just don't want a huge amp taking up room I would definitely recommend the NVX-VADM4. It's one badass product.

Very good kit and great product install options

So this kit gave me everything I needed minus a ground wire. I mounted this in the midcabin section of my boat so I needed at least a 20ft piece of ground. Aside from that the kit was perfect for everything I needed. Really liked the additional speaker wire because I ran out by about 15 feet prior to completion. Would definitely recommend the kit.

Great little amp.

I have purchased 3 of these amps and will continue to buy them for different applications on motorcycles. In the bridged mode, they provide the perfect amount of power to 6x9 speakers in lids. They have superior sound quality in either standard setup or bridged. No worries of overheating. Two of them will sit side by side in a Harley fairing and provide ample power to any 4-6 speaker setup providing 110+ db of clear sound that can be heard at ANY speed on a motorcycle. Nvx has done their homework on this little amp.

I would recommend this... It comes in a great display and has clean sound.... Only problem I had was it says that it comes with 65ft of speaker cable and I only recieved about 30..... I had to go out and buy an extra 20 or so feet of a different brand to have enough to wire my 4 doors... Other than that, it's fine....

This a great product. I bought this for my 2016 Roadglide. It's surprising how powerful this amp is. The sound is crisp and clear. Travis was a great help with choosing the right amp.

Perfect for classic cars

Loud cars need loud stereos, and this little gem gets the job done. I have this in my 1972 Duster mounted on the firewall running a pair of JBL Stadium GTO930s and a pair of Cerwin Vega H746s, and it sounds amazing. It's small enough to hide just about anywhere and packs plenty of power. I highly recomend this to anyone with classic cars who wants to keep their system hidden.

Snap NVX Done It Again

Had the mvpa4 upon release. Perfect size for my bike. Finally went to upgrade speakers and everything. Upon opening the box for the amp it fell right into a puddle from my lap. Upon looking I found theyre now marine rated! Also very minimal Scratching! New power availabilty is going to power everything nicely!

Awesome little amp!

Using this simply to allow running all 8 speaker locations in a 2012 4runner. Simple to set-up gets hot, but doesn't seem to be a problem.
I've got 6 nvx door speakers and a pair of pioneer 3" in the dash. 2ohm on all 4 channels still sounds great.

Decent for price

Decent amp for the price fortunately I paid way less for this amp RCA input plugs are cheap and wires pull out of plug and fray. The new waterproof amps look a lot better built if nvx would make better RCA inputs this amp would be a 5 star. amps installed on a 2015 H-D road glide..

Best amp kits

I have used Belva, Truconnect, and NVX amp kits. NVX is the best by far, there is a real difference and worth the extra dollars but still cheaper than many. value , quality, and all bits you might need included.

Loved the sound just didn't last

When I unboxed the VADM4 it was very small but felt way heavier than it looked and I noticed the flimsy little plastic connecters on the rca input wire harnesses so when I mounted it to my amp rack I made sure that they were completely secured so as not to be able to move at all. I had it running two sets of tweeters and was amazed at the power and sound the little thing put out. I had it for about 1 1/2 years and all of a sudden I was getting engine noise through tweeters. I did normal troubleshooting loose ground etc. Then I touched rca harness and it stopped so I thought it might have vibrated out(amp rack is not connected to sub box) I took off driving and got 2 blocks and started smelling electrical catastrophe I have a master switch that I can shut down everything on amp rack so I hit the switch and the VADM4 was smoking like a chimney. I do not know what happened to it but I have to assume it had something to do with those those chincy generic plastic rca inputs. I would not recommend the VADM4 unless those inputs were redesigned much sturdier. If that happened I would buy another one

This is the 2nd one I’ve bought. One for my boat and others for my Harley. Fits anywhere and sounds great. The one in my boat did get hot an turn off periodically but it’s played at full inside a 100+ degree compartment. Haven’t installed in the Harley yet but sure it’ll work just as great.

Good things come in small packages

This mini amp delivers big on sound. Fits under my front seat with room to spare. Once I got it tuned right I couldn't be happier. NVX VADM4 Micro Amp Sound Good, but Runs Really HOT

Bought this little amp back in November, but finally installed it yesterday (April 3rd). Amp is tiny, and was bolted to the bottom of a Pioneer DMH-2660NEX. It fit perfectly with some home made brackets. Amp sounds good and plays loud on JBL Club 8622F 6"x8" speakers without too much distortion. The Bench Test on You Tube verifies the Amp's advertised specifications.

My only issue with this Micro Amp is the running temperature. The amp runs HOT, and I mean HOT. You can't hold the amp in your hands for more than 5 seconds. Now this design is supposed to be Class D, and should therefore not run this Hot. Nonetheless, I believe the amp needs a better designed heat sink, or a cooling fan. Only time will tell how long it will last, since Heat is the Achilles Heal of electronics.

Great amp!.....when it worked

Install was easy and straightforward. Adjusted the settings according to the SMD CC1 and DD1. During testing, noticed the unit would get hot. Really hot. Had to let it cool down before proceeding with the rest of the installation otherwise it would burn my hands.

Amp lasted about a year before it stopped working. During the year, it would intermittently go out before finally kicking the bucket right after the 1-year warranty.

Ordered another one and hopefully, it lasts longer than the first one and doesn't run as hot.

Great - Harley Street Glide

This is a great amp, especially for bikes. It’s small, powerful, and reliable. It fit perfectly in the fairing. It’s paired with a Rockford Fosgate DSR1 and Infinity Kappa Perfects (fairing and bags) for pure sonic heaven. I see others spend a lot more on amps for their bikes and I don’t understand why.

If researching audio equipment for your Harley like I did, NVX is a good amp for your short list of contenders.

Holy soy milk!

Had the 4 channel mini rockford t400bdx or whatever it's called & when I switched the crossover to full range it got stuck between frequency or something & smoked the amp after about 1 year & I needed something small cause there wasn't much room so I figured I'd try this mini amp for now.... it actually sounds better than the rockford ever did! I bought another one for back up & still spent much less then what the rockford cost. I'm so impressed with this little amp! Just buy it already! It's gonna surprise you, trust me!

Not Sure this is 100% Copper

Its a nice set of cables. No problem with sound or power running a 4 channel amp at almost 400W RMS. But I am not convinced this is 100% OFC copper. I have other plain copper wires. They are much more dense and heavy for their mass. This feels lighter than copper. It is also more flexible and holds less of a bend--when you cut it it is extremely more brittle than plain copper. It looks like there is as much tinning as there is copper. The speaker wire and amp turn on are about one guage larger than advertised according to my stripper, which is nice. It was also nice to see the speaker wires are double insulated with two separate layers of insulation. I like the kit, it seems to work. But having used plain copper many many times, this stuff looks like there is less copper than whatever lighter metal it is coated with.

I love the ease of use. Power and ground already come with terminal ring attached and shrink wrapped. First two feet of power cable has nylon mesh for protection from head inside the engine bay. Plus you get a bag of extras just in case. This is my second NVX amp kit and I will go with them again in the future.

Best mini amplifier line

I think nvx makes the best actual mini amplifiers you can buy. They all do atleast what they are rated and the price and sizes are perfect. I actually have this on top of my receiver and it fits perfectly in my 2016 jeep compass. Probably won't work like that for everyone, I have enough space I can probably fit 3 of these behind my receiver. Nvx is sonicelectronix in house brand and they have an amplifier for everyone, they are not just budget friendly. They make many amps for all price points, all the way up to 8k amps and higher. I have been using a bluetooth speaker in my 1965 Mustang for years. I finally decided to install a hidden radio in the glove box and to put speakers in the package tray and front kick panels. I was shopping for a compact 4-channel amp. The VADM4v2 was the best option for my preferred location (not in the trunk or under a seat). It is mounted on a plate parallel with the floor and fits under the dash. I am impressed with the output and full adjustment for the HP/LP filters. I have Molex Mini and Micro fit crimpers/connectors to make direct speaker connections without splicing in the supplied speaker wire adaptors.

Best Mini Amp

This amp was a breeze to install and tune. I did a speaker swap and was amazed at how much CLEAN power this mini amp generates. I used the NVX OFC amp kit, and had notice zero thermal issues. After 15 minutes of music, this amp was still only warm to the touch. Paired with a NVX LOC, I have the gain on the amp set all the way down, and can barely stand to turn the volume to max. This is an absolute great value for power. The size is almost unbelievable. I am so happy with this amp.
