Poor quality

I had ordered a Kicker pk8 amplifier wiring kit and these were part of a package that only Sonic had offered. To put it shortly, one of the jacks was grounding out when I plugged it all the way in the RCA jacks in the headunit. It was causing a lot of doubts in the equipment in my system, but I got down to the root and these were the culprit. I contacted Sonic and they gladly replaced the with a set of StreetWire RCA's that worked just fine when I installed them. Thanks Sonic! But as far as these go, I wouldn't recommend them. Spend a little more and get some better ones.

Amazing deal

This thing has great sound quality. I used it as my factory replacement subwoofer in my 02 Tahoe powered by my 5 channel at a 4 ohm load, and it has 300 watts going to it. It handles every bit with ease really sounds great with rock and country.

Great RCA Cable

I used this with a 5 channel kenwood amp and a pioneer head unit. worked like it should.

Love them

I have 2 of these in the Attrend ported box and the NVX JAD 900.5 wired at 2 ohms they sound awesome. These little guys hit hard and clean definitely amazed. These are in a 2016 Sorento and they will make your rear view mirror useless and you barely here them outside. I upgraded to 10’s but these are now in my GF’s Hyundai Accent and bang hard can actually hear them a lot more outside but my car has sound dampening from the factory. For the price these things rock would definitely recommend them

Small speaker with big sound!

I bought this sub woofer as a replacement for my blown stock subwoofer and man does this thing punch hard! I thought it might be like bass in the back ground but even connected to my stock Bose amp it punched harder than i expected! BTW I have a 2000 Nissan Maxima with a 19 year old Bose system that still works great

Replaced my 2010 Subaru Outback Subwoofer / Upgrade +

I replaced my stock Harmon Kardon in a 2010 Subaru Outback. It was a nice upgrade with a much larger magnet on the new subwoofer. It hits harder and sounds better than the stock. The vehicle only contained (1) 8" subwoofer in the back by the rear wheel well. I added some insulation around the general area which helps with no rattling and overall road noise. I performed the big 3 upgrade on the car as well with 8 AWG NVX wires and that keeps all my electronics and radio sounding awesome even at the highest levels with the stock Harmon Kardon head unit and amplifier.

Exceeds expectations

A little history: I’ve ran a single VSW 12, and pair of VSW 10’s and now I have 4 of these, all done in ported enclosures. The 12 was good, 2 10’s better but now I think I’ve maxed what I can do without stupid modifications or overspending. I’ve ran all of the subs under the seat of my truck just trying to get the most out of the small space I have and these 8’s so far produce the most leg-hair-tickling bass for the space but the value is amazing as well. Literally a hair over $200 for 4. You just won’t find an 8 inch sub that performs in the smaller ported box for the price. You’d have to spend Alpine or JL money to get comparable performance. And I’ve only just did a test play for like 10 minutes. If they are anything like the bigger ones they will get even better once broke in.

good compact amp

I bought this amp to power 2 10" jbl gt500 sub's. Clean and solid power! Only downside is of you push this amp to the max like I did with the jbl sub's, safety feature kicks it off and turns back on from pushing it really hard. Had to turn bass level down on my Kenwood head unit to prevent this. However, this amp rocks!

Good Amp so far

as a former car audio installer and lifetime car audio enthusiast, i must say this amp is very impressive. gain and bass boost turned down all the way and my good Polk sub can hardly handle it. and it sounds amazing. needless to say i will be replacing my sub soon, probably with two as this amp can handle a lot. JBL is a great brand, the only i will buy from now on, i have had such good luck with their products.

Installed this in a 2006 Impala LT, running 2-12" (275rms) a piece subs, in a ported enclosure. This amp no issues pushing them well. The removable access panels are great, for a cleaner look. True 4 gauge power/ground inputs. Didn't use the auto amp turn on feature, because I had already ran a remote wire, for the other 4 channel amp. Very small foot print, but has a solid weight to it.

Well first I got lucky and got amp wires on sale they are worth full price but just saying. I was worried that power wire may not be long enuff but had plenty no issues. Also liked the extras things like end already cramped on one wire end but not on other end of wire since that end would connect to the large round fuse that was included in kit. What I'm saying is kit wasn't just thrown together they gave some forethought to kit so I'll give this product a thumbs up and also should mention the quality was good Tony

Superior Wire - Excellent Choice

Pros:
This product looks, feels and functions exactly the way you would expect. The wires are superior to most any other kit I have seen or used in this price range. I was VERY impressed.
Excellent quality

Cons:
I wasn't impressed with the fuse holder for this kit. The silicone grommet that the power wire is supposed to go through is nearly impossible to get over the wire and worst of all, once you finally get the grommet over the wire, the grommet will not fit into the intended hole on the end of the fuse holder. This leaves you with either no seal or a compromised seal.

All in all, I would def recommend this product.
The size and quality of the power and ground wires in this alone are worth more than what you pay for the whole kit.
