I've yet to install these speakers but I have other speakers from NVX and I'm very satisfied with their products. I know these 6.5 component speakers will be great!

Sound Great!

These are my first set of non-oem speakers, replacing the oem tweeters and front speakers on my 2005 Pontiac Vibe with the moon and tune package. It's hard to find 2-ohm speakers that work with the OEM amplifier, back speakers, and subwoofer so having these available is clutch if you're a Pontiac Vibe owner.

Installation
Installation was made difficult because the speakers did not come with any instructions which made it difficult for someone who had never installed speakers before. Installing the tweeters was easy enough, to get them to fit under the OEM tweeter covers I removed the tweeters from their housing and glued the metal back to where the OEM tweeters had screwed in.
Installing the speakers was much harder. The kit doesn't come with any of the screws so I ended up going to the hardware store with the plastic housing and finding a screw and nut to fit every hole in the plastic housing. I then drilled holes in the car door for each hole and screwed the holes in. The OEM speaker holes are a little larger then the fittings, its important to fit the speaker as low as possible or else you can't close the window all the way on the driver side. On the passenger side the window will hit the speaker about an inch from fully closing, although a couple months in I haven't had any problems. Since the speaker hold was a little bigger than the speaker, I used clay caulking to seal up the gaps after running the speaker wire through the gap. It took a lot of force to insert the speaker connectors into the speakers, I thought I was going to break them, but after some painful pushing they slid in.

Tweeters
The tweeters are a significant upgrade over the OEM ones. A dramatic increase in detail and sparkle. The tweeters were a bit overpowering when the crossover was set to 0db (drowning out the mids), but switching to -3db is perfect. A really nice feature. They work together really well with the speakers.

Speakers
Very crisp detail with a punchy bass. They sound great at any volume and don't seem to mind being driven hard. My only criticism is the bass can sometimes overpower the mids, especially since i already have a subwoofer. I guess that could be fixed with EQing, but honestly things sound good as they are.

Overall I highly recommend for anyone trying to find a set of speakers that they can plug and play into their Pontiac Vibe with the moon and tunes package.

Love NVX!

NVX has been the only speaker I've been running since I bought my first set when they came out. Specifically these 2 ohm 6.5 component speakers are amazing, especially amazing for the price. I have them in both of my cars and amped. The mids and bass these speakers produce is incredible. Even with the volume all the way up these speakers are crystal clear. For the money I don't know of any other speaker that will come close. These speakers act like some super high-end super pricey brands that are double or triple the price. I will always recommend NVX brand to anybody

Awesome!!

I have a 2005 Toyota Sequoia with the factory JBL sound system. I just replaced the front to speakers/tweeters in the doors. Huge difference!! It sounds way better than the factory system. These speakers are great too because they are 2ohm speakers. This means they are plug and play in the 2005 Sequoia! Thanks Sonic and NVX!
