Beautiful build quality, I understand why they are not included, most of the time they are not needed in cars. But since I’m installing these in speaker boxes I built, I went with them. Glad I didn’t need to buy generic POS grills.

Simple, sturdy
These grilles are simple and attractive. The plastic base goes under the speaker, then the metal grille snaps in after the screws are installed.There is a shallow recess in the base that the speaker fits into. No logo--I think they would work with most 5-1/4 in speakers, except ones with a "pincushion" basket or a really tall tweeter. The base is 6-1/2 inches across, so make sure you have room. I put a few spots of dum-dum (auto body sealer) in the slot where the metal grille fits just to make sure it didn't buzz.

Does the job
I bought these because I made custom door panels, and the thought of the speaker showing was cool, but was nervous about somebody kicking my tweeters. Well the covers are sturdy, and can be slightly flexed for your needs.
