AudioControl LC2-What?

my main reason for purchasing this was the warranty. NVX offers a 3 year warranty with no stipulations. I had my LC2i go defective after a year and a half, thought it had the 5 year warranty it advertises from audiocontrol but the stipulation is that you have to have had it installed by an "Authorized AudioControl Installer".... $100.00 on it, gone. after just barely more than a year.....

I am a DIY'er and the 3 year-no-stipulation warranty from NVX on this is worth the entire value alone.

Awesome little DSP

Bought this based off of some other reviews and could not be more pleased. The signal from my GTI’s head unit had reduced bass levels and this totally fixed it. This unit was much cheaper than the Audio Control LC2i that I was considering - and I didn’t have to pay extra for the remote! This was my first purchase from Sonic and everything went very smoothly.

2019 Silverado

Very high quality line output convertor. I had a passive LOC that made my system sound hollow. I upgraded to this and it completely changed everything. I have it on Kenwood 5 channel amp bridged to use as a 3 channel. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a top quality LOC.

Awesome piece of equipment

Bought a new car and wanted a system in it asap. I originally had a cheap loc to make it happen. Had bought a new amp and had some old subs. it worked but wasn't satisfied. I got better subs and decided to upgrade my loc as well to this. This thing is amazing. With my old loc i had to have the gain set more than i was comfortable with to get any bass out of my subs. With this loc I barley have the gain dial moved and my system hits HARD.

I just got this unit all installed. Easy setup and a LOT of signal power to feed your amp with. The bass enhancement is very effective. The setup instructions are very basic, glad I made this choice. Up and running with no negative things to say about this unit to date. Love the signal sensing and automatic turn-on feature to feed your amp with a turn-on signal.

NVX converter for the win!!

So I was choosing between this and the audio control and I'm glad I decided on the NVX. I'm pretty sure this thing puts out more than 9.5v that they claim because I had this thing on a multi meter and it reached 9v around 3/4 of the way on the bass gain. I turned the dial until it read 5v because my kicker amp has a max input low level of 5v. And I set the gains with a SMD DD1 distortion detector. I don't even have the gain 1/10 of the way up and it is supplying my 4 8inch skar IX's with all the power they need. This is a must have for people that are wanting to retain their factory stereo and put some subwoofers in. I'm very pleased with this purchase and would definitely buy again if needed.

Through reviews, decided to order this one instead of the more popular, more expensive brand. Works great does everything I need it to. Good clean sound and saved some cash.

Does not work

Purchased this as a Christmas gift for my son. Finally got around to installing it today in his 2019 Toyota Tacoma. Used the sensing option from the factory head unit to power an eq and amp. Does not sense any output from the head unit. I did check and there is a signal at the terminals on the unit. And I can't return it because I'm out of the 60 day return. Should have ordered an audio control unit instead.

to be honest i bought this and have no idea how to hook it up? do i just tap into my speakers? and on the other side it says power and ground. do i run a wire from my battery to pos and neg? any help?

Great loc

Had a shop put a system in my car when I seen they used a install bay loc on my car I yanked it out put this in . I gained so much power it's kind of crazy plus, these let you put bass in as volume goes up or less bass as it goes up no more factory roll off. I'm ashamed of my local stereo installer. A cheap l.o.c will cause clipping at very low volume if you don't have clip detection tools make sure you get a Amplifier with clip light these should really be standard but are not. Never trust the 3 quarter way up is good technique , we have all heard it

Originally ordered a different LOC that wasn’t compatible with my car because it didn’t have auto sensing. Customer service was amazing through the process. Talked to Hunter who got me switched over to this one. Instillation was seamless. Is super easy to use. I was originally worried about sound quality using an LOC compared to a working harness. However using this LOC, my system sounds clean. Highly recommend for anyone needing to go the LOC route. You won’t be disappointed.

** my only wish, is that it came with speaker wire to run from the doors to the LOC, so you will need to purchase some to go with it.

Great LOC for the price

Went to use this LOC on my mothers 2024 Sequoia platinum. Hooked it right up to the factory JBL sub wiring and it fired right up sounding super crisp and clean. For the money I would recommend this to anyone not wanting to overspend on a audiocontrol LOC.
