Fits in 2013 Kia Optima
Just finished installing them in my 2013 kia optima currently I am running them active through a deh80prs head unit and its amplified with RF t-600-4 so its getting about 115W rms at 4 ohms.
From listening to them for only short period so far; I can really tell the have a great roll off between the midbass and subbass.i have them crossed at 50hz with 12db slope. still haven't broke them in but I could tell the are going to improve the sq in my current set up.
My dislike so far is that it didn't come with any self tapping screws so I was fumbling a little bit and couldn't drive down to the store with my car door dismantled so I had to drill out the holes so it would fit factory screws.
Also FYI, this speaker does not fit in the The Install Bay VXT65 speaker baffle because basket on speaker is too large
In future models of NVX speakers I would like to see more mounting options the four around the baffle limits the possibilities in other cars.

THE SUPER MAN OF MID-BASS DRIVERS!!!
I own a pair of these NVX Mid-bass drivers and X-series tweeters and all I ever tell anyone is, " yo, you wanna check out my system?, or "lets hear it on my system"! These drivers replaced my Focal 165VB and IM GLAD they did! They play much loader and have much more mid-bass!
BEWARE, these mid-bass drivers are large and in change, which makes the installation in some vehicle difficult, however these speakers are a great way to start building an "SQ" system!

Excellent low-reaching tweeters
Keep in mind this tweeter isn't accommodating to just any installation. It's a rather large tweeter. That said, it's an excellent tweeter. Tremendous value. Belts it out solidly and cleanly in a 2-way, and can crossover low enough to work with mids in a front 2-way with ease. Been extremely pleased with them. Clean, smooth and after some playing time they seem to be even better. I have them on-axis in custom pods in an 8th gen Civic sedan. I have the levels pulled back on the DSP as they can easily overpower being on-axis. I'm crossing these anywhere between 2k-2.5k , currently around 2300hz. I imagine from the specs they could reach lower but work well as I have them. Like all NVX gear I've worked with thus far, these are outstanding.

Great Tweeters!
These tweeters are awesome, they are very loud and clean! At fist they might sound bright, but once you tune your system they really sound great!
P.S, these tweeters are big to work with!

Excellent
Huge upgrade to the Polk Audio Tweeters these replaced. Very natural and smooth sound. Little hard to install unless making a custom setup.

Can't beat them for the price...
These tweets lived up to all the hype. I really don't have a thing bad to say about them as far as their sound quality. Although, they did take a couple weeks to develop the all around smoothness they have now. The first day I did consider them just a tad harsh, but that was just the pre-break in time period. Other than that, just the size of these gargantuan tweets. Hard to find a suitable location for a stealth install. am about to purchase the 6.5" door speakers and make this house a happy home!

Great Tweeters!
I was planning on getting some tweets that list for $580. Then someone convinced me to try these. I replaced my Rockford Fosgate T5 tweeters with these, and the improvement is awesome!
Details galore, not to bright and a very natural sound, They seem well built, and look great. The best tweeters that I've owned. They pair up great with the RF T5's woofers which is the best woofer i've owned.
Cons,
They are BIG, and i had to get creative to install them.
Also they don't seem to lock into their pod/cup to easily.

The cat's MEOW..
As some may already know these tweeters are based on the highly praised SB Acoustics driver and no SQ was lost in the translation..
The first thing you will notice about these tweeters is the weight, they're heavy and the second thing you will notice is the sound, they're incredible and totally transformed my sound stage, these tweeters will pull clear down to 800Hz but you'll enjoy crossing them at 1500Hz, this will raise the sound stage and put the bass on your dashboard, where it belongs..
Trust me you want these tweeters, stop waiting and buy them..

NVX Tweeters AMAZING !!
I installed a set of these in the rear of my car and I was just blown away by volume , clarity , and the overall enhancement of my audio listening pleasure . They play loud and do not have ANY distortion . I have all NVX speakers in my set up except I have a Pioneer 12 inch sub . I do believe they are very under rated on their power handling because my amp pushes 150 watts RMS per channel and the speakers ratings are only 50-65 watts RMS and I get high quality distortion free sound at high volume . The NVX tweeters have 800 - 22000HZ output rating so they also pick up quite a bit of your midrange frequencies ( that is why I purchased these ) The vocals are SO much more clear along with lead guitar and drum instruments . You can spend $500.00 on a set of tweeters and will not get ANY more quality sound then these NVX XSPTW models . If I could only fit another sub in my little Fiat 500 , I would be a strong contender in a audio competition because of these tweeters !! I strongly recommend this product matched up with a set of NVX XNET2 crossovers . That's only my opinion , I could be right !! Thank you again Sonic for your superior product and service .

Well...
Sound great honestly, design is horrible, the pods/baffle they come with are horrible, tweets dont even stay in the pods with no cablees attached, you cant get tweets in the pod with cables on, the tweeters should come with wiring if not just pre attached cables already, they trim rings are bad as well, but they sound great. PAIN TO MOUNT THO.... DESIGN IS TRASH

Well made, slightly misrepresented freq. responce
These tweeters are fairly well made and sound great. However ...
The website states a crossover point of 1900hz.. Tried that, then I moved up to 2100, tried that, ended up at 2500hz crossover and they play fine. Otherwise, they start to play distorted or hazy. Considering that my other vehicle with morel mt23 tweeters plays great to 1800hz I was familiar with early distortion at too low of a crossover point. There is no manual with the NVX tweeters so all the info comes off the website, at least I didn't get one. Didn't really need one.
I like the NVX tweeters, so far they are working well..
These are large tweeters in an even larger housing, keep that in mind when locating them.

Underrated speaker
The salesman recommended these to blend with my JL C5 tweeters. I am running them active off a PPI 900.5 amp. Rounding out the bottom end is a JL slim 10" sub. After installing them yesterday I can say I'm initially impressed. They are efficient and sound clean out of the box. They have an excellent attack and I can really feel the low end kick I've been wanting. I can't wait to see what they sound like after they break in. I am disappointed the salesman told me I would not have to cut my doors in my Ridgeline. Unfortunately after using a 3/4" spacer, I still had quite a bit of trimming to do.

Nice tweeter
I have had these tweeters for a while now, so I can give an honest review. I had them hooked up to the deck power at first and they sounded awful. I decided to get a small amp to see if that helped and it made a world of difference. They are not nearly as harsh and bright now, actually pretty mellow and smooth. The tweeters are very revealing, I'm hearing much more detail than my previous tweets, and they can get pretty loud also. Mine are running active crossed at 2.5khz at 24db slope. You need a pretty big spot to mount them as the physical dimensions are much bigger than the average tweeter, but for around $100, I doubt you could find anything better.

Awesome and big
I've had these for 6 mo and at first they are scratchy during the first 10 hours of break in then mellow out real nice. Loudest and clearest tweets I have ever heard.if you are looking for angled surface mounts arc audio has some that fit their black line that work very good I used a set myself. Let these break in before you judge them.

Great Sound
Exactly what I needed to replace the factory "satellite" Third Row speakers in my 2007 Ford Expedition. Took the bezels/shrouds off the speakers and retrofitted them into the factory bezels. Added a little bit of silicone to keep them in place. it's a night and day different. Hits the high and mids very well. A little bit pricey but the quality is there.

Amazing
I have the actual sb29 Neo tweeters in my doors which these are with a metal grill added. They are very flat in frequency response with only a few minor dips at 7k and above. The harmonic and IM distortion levels are extremely low and they can be crossed over about as low as you want. They are easy to hit a LR4 around 1500-1700 with passive components if you want to go that route. I am using Dsp crossovers LR4 or LR8 @ 1600hz but I may go down to 1500 after I take some in car measurements. They are extremely sensitive at 94db/w and even crossed over low you only need 20-25w if using active XO. They sound great as is and I still haven't fine tuned the frequency response in car with the Dsp unit . Any reviews mentioning break in are mistaken as there is no such thing in a tweeter. Even in a woofer the only thing that changes is the resonant frequency drops when the spider stretches out which happens very quickly a few hours at most running at Xmas would do the trick. I am using these with a set of 7"peerless hds exclusive woofers and they blend very well. These can be crossed over low enough to avoid some off the off axis lobeing issues due to driver spacing and some time alignment take care of the rest. Overall I couldn't be happier.

Excellent tweeter
I bought these tweeters to replace jbl ms 62c tweeters. The NVX X tweeters sound just as if not more detailed than the jbl tweets. The huge size of these tweeters means you can't flush mount them in your sail panels. I just surfaced mounted them and used the provided mount which is not that great. The tweeter size allows you to play your music very loud without losing the sql, unlike the jbl tweets which were excellent at low to mid level volumes. If you have an active crossover, I have mine highpassed at 2K with a 12db slope.I highly recommend these tweeters if you don't want to shell out hundreds of bucks for the fancy brands such as HAT/FOCAL but you still want comparable SQL.

WOW
Built with precise and quality. Can't go wrong with this tweeter. NVX is the shit!

Awesome
These look and sound identical to the arc audio black series speakers. I saved a couple of hundred dollars on these. A major steal. For anyone in serious car audio you know the extreme quality of arc products. I have these amped by a arc. Ks 300.4 at 100 watt chi. I have a pair of black 4.0speaks on order to make a custom 3 way using arc crossovers. Which are the best you can find! Several xover points available and slopes with tw attenuation. From 2k-5k.
I give nvx a kudos for picking an awesome supplier. Bs acoustics it looks like. Top of the line! !

Woah
Running 2 pairs of these in the doors of a 2012 Ridgeline. Active, 125W@2 ohms/pair. Crossed somewhere from 160Hz/6dB to 50Hz/24dB on the highpass, and from 2kHz/6dB lowpass, on up to 'no filter' for a natural rolloff, depending on tweeters and driver placement. I'm currently @ 63Hz/18dB, 3.2kHz/6dB, paired with Peerless OT19 tweets in sail pods and 2 Polk 12 inch subs.
Pros
This combo of tweeter/midbass is stunning and produces sparkling clarity, precision, and no fatigue. Wide stereo image and will shake your mirrors if you cross them low. I could get away with no subs if I wasn't a basshead. You can hear the mids outside my vehicle with all the windows rolled up and treated doors, they are that loud and clear!
Cons
These are big and deep speakers, not a drop-in experience. Also, this driver is a rebrand of a less-expensive DIY driver available elsewhere without grilles, screws, or spring terminals, so if you don't need that stuff... but I digress. I am curious to see how the cone material holds up in a car door environment.

Superb
Incredible build quality. I bought these because they came highly recommended and I didn't want to spend a fortune on speakers. These replaced a set of Polk Audio db6501 components and I can say that they are a noticeable improvement. They required very little EQ to sound their best. They also play very smooth, clean and clear up past 4Khz, even though I don't run them that high. I gained a ton of mid bass as well. I would highly recommend these.
Great Mid's
Love these mid range speakers. They have good mid bass and are very clear. Powering them with the NVX 800 Amp and they can handle the power. Higher recommend.
cost more , get more
These drivers are pretty expensive imo, but they perform way better than any coaxial speaker. If you want a mid bass that actually thumps pick these up. Only use with an amp. Awesome quality , big magnet, I'm happy
