Works Great

I bought this to go with an aftermarket stereo from Rosen that replaced the whole faceplate in my Mustang. I wanted something that utilized the Rosen hookup which is an S-Video cable for signal and power, so I wouldn't have to tap into anything. The camera hooked up and worked great, but I did have to open it up and flip the lense around since I mounted above my plate instead of on a tailgate handle. My only complaints are that the low light visibility is not great and the lines are not able to turn off. I would definitely buy again if you have a Rosen stereo that has the ability for reverse cameras.

OEM Rearview mirror monitor

I love my OEM Rearview mirror monitor. It is especially great at night...with no other light except what is on the car. In the daytime, it is a little harder to use because of the natural light. I am working on creating a hood or shield over the monitor so that the backup image is more focused and visible.

Not 728 x 582 Resolution

This is a $14 cam, not a penny more. I have a 728x582 DVR cam producing a crisp image on my 1080x600 display. The DP-1096-1 image is grainy and blurred on the same display but is fine on a much smaller 480x272 monitor. I also had to take the cam apart to rotate the lens 180 degrees because this cam is for vertical mount and I need a horizontal under-the-trunk lid mount.

backup camera

camera was moderate to install due to lacking instructions to connect to the radio. I also have a camera that is not zeroed when mounted. It is turn to show the passenger side more then the center.

Nice mirror

Installed fairly easy. Instructions were not the best but sonix real response to my questions so got it operational. Great help on a 3/4 ton diesel silverado.
