Great Kit for Power Locks

I purchased this product to put power locks into my Ranger pickup truck. I combined it with an alarm system that I also purchased for Sonic, so now I can remotely lock/unlock the doors. If you know your way around cars, it is a pretty simple installation. The hardest part is figuring out where to attach the actuator.

Awesome system

The install was a breeze IF you know what your doing. The instructions wasn't too good, but pictures make all the difference. The plastic housing looks cheap, but it doesn't look like it will crumble and fall apart. I've been using this for about 3 weeks now and it works like it should.

What a bargain!

These actuators work well and are easy to install. I automated the locks on a Ford F150 in a couple of hours while changing out the speakers. Directions are clear and easy and hardware is sufficient. This unit interfaced seamlessly with my Viper alarm purchased from Sonic.

Solid kit!

great kit, solid actuators. Good brackets. Lots of wire. easy multi-pin relay. Master lock actuator included to lock all doors with key. Can't beat the value and the quality is great.

I put on the actuator on rear door left side. couldn't get to work, your instructions don't tell where the best place color code don't match (chevy -avalanche) kit is more for new installation ?not for replacement of oem failed actuator went on youtube to see how to install

Easy to install and a great price! Not much more to say here!

This is for cheap low class cars or old ones that came without central locking system. It is not the cheapest, but work well. Quality is normal Chinese, but is good to hold for 3 or more years. This item need a separated remote control, you can put remote start to control the locks
that is what I did! This is for small or medium size cars, the wire harness may came short for the others vehicles!!!

Simple central locking

Great hookup for full central locking addition to the vehicle. Comes with good instructions. Central locking from both front driver and passenger doors. Don't stretch the wires too much as this could damage where the wires are crimped and cause some of the locks not to function. Easy integration into alarm system. For the price it's definitely worth the buy. Have bought and installed 3 so far. No complaints.

Excellent Product

Bought this for my 2004 gmc pickup, paired it with a scytec alarm and now my truck has keyless.

This kit has everything I needed, the wiring harness plugged right in, 5 wire actuators worked like a charm. The actuators were bigger than I thought but I still managed to fit them under the door skins. I drilled and tapped two machine screws to attach the actuators if anyone is wondering how to install them.

Good product for price!

1 month installed and so far so good. This was my first time installing door actuators. I am glad I found some tutorials first. If I had not, I would have sunk a lot more time in this project. Took me about 8 hours for 4 doors and adding an additional actuator to hatch lock. If you have cables for your door locks, be warned you might have to wrap some tape around it(to make the cable fatter) for the attachment piece to bite down on the cable.

Great item, reliable

I have owners these solenoids for over a month now and have installed two of these kits on two different cars. The install was very easy and they work perfectly. They have plenty of power to unlock my doors and was able to wire them into my exiting remote start systems. The master solenoids are key for this system. I would highly recommend.

Nice actuators

Only used 3 of the 4. Used 2 for my 2 door car 1 master and 1 slave actuator. 1 for my hatch used the slave actuator.Installation was more complicated then it needed to be. took me 2 days but i don't blame the actuators it was my mistake. Make sure you pay attention for fitment and clearance behind the panels. easy to wire with the wiring diagram. Really easy to wire to an alarm.

Looks good compact simple installation very reliable con is plastic need be careful but for the price can't complain works great with remote starts or alarms
