QuickVU

Great little unit while it lasted. I fastened it to my rear license plate of my 2012 F250 Crew Cab and it worked quite well. Took off and tried to get it to work again a little later but no luck. Went to retrieve the camera only to find the camera and the license plate missing. I retraced my steps and luckily was able to recover my license plate, but not the camera. Be sure to use longer license plate screws when you install the camera.
Easy install and worked quite well.

Junk

I received one of these and mounted it on the Volt I had just leased. It worked for a while but had a poor quality picture. After about 2 weeks it quit working. I didn't have time to mess with it at the time but I recently took it off and opened the camera. It was full of water. I cleaned out the water and put it back of the car. It worked twice and quit again. A piece of junk. Wouldn't recommend this thing to anyone.

Open Road Wireless QuickVu Backup Camera

Highly recommend!
I have purchased several of these backup cameras.
I liked that I did not need to cut any holes or wiring on the car. I also liked that it could be moved to another car with no problem. Installation can be a real issue and expensive on wired to auto models. There was a little problem with some early production but they quickly solved the issue. The real bonus was they have the best customer service I have encountered in the tech era. They were prompt, courteous, professional and extremely competent. Highly recommend!
