Plenty Of Clean Power
I picked this amp up to go along with a new set of Infinity components and an 8" sub. The birthsheet has it rated at 78 watts per channel at 4 ohms X 4 channels. My speakers are 2 ohms, so I reckon there's at least 90-100 watts going to each channel. I have the gain turned up to half on both the sub and the speakers, and there is plenty of pop. What more can I say? For a great deal during the cyber monday sale I got a killer amp to drive my music. The sound is clean (and will be cleaner once I upgrade the RCA cables - the Raptor set I bought here are pretty lame) and you can tell this thing is quality. I like the terminal connections as well, as they are the screw down type versus having to crimp and solder termials on. Orion is a known quantity for me, and so far I am a happy camper.
The only thing is wish was different is from an engineering point of view. I was looking at a Kicker 350, and I love how the adjustment screws for gain, bass, etc, are on the top of the unit. This was you can bolt it down without having it completely tuned. I have to take mine off each time I want to adjust, and with the speakers breaking in, it will be a few weeks before I finally have it sorted to where I want it. But a pretty minor gripe, I'll admit it. Great product overall.
