Almost never a good loaf!
I had a Regal Bread maker that took 3 1/2 hours to bake and very few loaves that had dropped tops. After 3 years it died, so it was easy to buy an Oster and since then, I hardly have a perfect loaf like I had with the Regal Bread maker. Not happy, but still trying to find the trick with this
bread maker!

Machine has gone down in quality
I have owned an Oster Bread Machine for 20 years. Oster used to be known for quality, what happened? We loved our bread machine, it was quiet and made of heavy duty materials and lasted for a long time. The new machine is very loud, and if you have a radio plugged in, the bread machine intereferes with the radio as well. Another complaint, is that removing the pan from the machine is very difficult. I will be returning this machine and purchasing a Panasonic SD-YD250 which has gotten great reviews and resembles my old machine. I hope that Oster reads this and decides to go back to their prior models and note why they were so great!

STILL TRYING TOO!
I made the Express Bread in 58 minutes and it turned out good to very good. I have made the French and Italian herb and the top drops every time.
