Attempt to filter aircraft engine hash noise
Installed the filter as we had an aircraft radio that was poor in reception due to excessive hash and noise. It was hoped that the filter would reduce some of the noise, if in fact it was inline noise from the electrical system. The filter made no difference, we had to relocate the antenna to see any improvement at all. We are still chasing the problem, and are starting to wonder if perhaps the radio has problems of its own. The filter was easy to install and we were satisfied with its performance, even though it did not resolve our particular problem.
