Does the job

This product is a great replacement for your stock cable. Mine was not working, so I bought this to replace it. It works as good as the Alpine brand cable that came with my stereo. Not CD quality, but it allows you to use the auxillary devices.

Only way

I used this and a stereo RCA to stereo mini-jack to connect my old ipod to my Alpine CDA-9883. I don't get as good of sound quality as I do with a CD. Don't know where the problem lies, (headunit, cord, or ipod) but at least I get to use my ipod.

Works as expected

I picked this up so I could hook a 1/8 headphone jack up to the stereo to plug into devices. Just hook up and turn on the auxiliary input in the stereo's configuration. I've used this with my cell phone for hands-free talking and playing music or audio books, and have used it with my ham radio.

Great product, value

I wanted to finally be able to feed an external audio signal to my head unit and this fit the bill perfectly..

Pros:easy installation works great without any big issues noticed..

Cons: nothing big only thing would be the ends and wire a little flimsy not a bad thing as the feed wire is flexible thus easily goes around obsticles..
