Good unit

I like this unit due to the size which fit in the dash on VW Jetta nicely along with the necessary dash trim kit (not included.) It has all the features like bluetooth, a remote, USB connectivity and an AUX input to play music from my smartphone.

It works

Installed in a 2009 Jetta S wagen with a DNX 6190hd nav unit. I started out with a Metra/axxess unit which only listed cars up to 2007, the newer '2009' box only list cars up to 2008. Everything worked accept ACC/RAP which drove me crazy, tried the blue keysense wire off the ignition but that turned the radio on/off at odd times and took about 2 minutes to time out after the door was closed.

ACC worked right out of the box with this PAC unit, the only thing is RAP turns the radio off when the key is removed which is great but I think the oem stereo stayed on with the key out and didn't turn off till the door was open.

Bottom line if you have a vdub with RAP features skip the axxess unit and get this one. And on a side note Sonic ships extremely fast, I got mine in one day with the free shipping.

VW Wiring Solution

Excellent product. Allowed me to remove my VW system and plug in a higher featured system without any headache. Works great and it matches up to the existing wiring.

Easy install

I have a 2007 VW Jetta and i needed this to make the install of my new JVC KW-V200-BT an easy plug and play. I will say however it was a little confusing locating some of the wires i needed to connect to the stereo. as you can see in the picture the harness has 3 bundles of wires depending on the stereo you are installing. Stereo only, navigation and steering wheel controls. If you are installing a unit that DOES NOT have navigation the RED IGNITION wire and ORANGE/WHITE ILLUMINATION wire are in the navigation bundle. After it was all said and done everything works flawlessly as if it came with the car
