Awesome product and great price!

I bought this to amplify the signal for my aux cable for my bmws dsp system. This product works wonders! Followed their recommended levels for sound adjustment and its left me more than pleased. I'll be recommending this to anyone who needs to raise the signal from your media player/phone!

Pac ld -10 line driver

Please mention why you would recommend (or not recommend) this product, and what are its pros and cons, in your opinion. Please stick to the facts and do not use offensive language. Reviews must contain a minimum of 10 words.I absolutely love this product. I purchased 2-15s boss phantoms 2500 watt subwoofers and a 5000 watt lanzar vibe amp...it sounded great...but I wanted more..I wanted to more 15s but then I looked this product up. if you want bigger better louder sound without upgrading or buying more subs or amp...buy this line driver...it did the trick for me...and I have plenty of power left in my system...my gains are low and I have plenty bass to go around ....I love this really...I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a sound system....it will blow your mind...this item will turn a small system into a huge system...for 2-15s...my system sounds like 4-18s..in a trunk...no hairs tricks..but whole car shakes...neighbors all around complains...and if your standing by the car..your clothes vibrate...in the car....bass takes your breath away....so I have no complaints.....I do suggest you get some tweeters and more highs and midrange...I absolutely love this product. Great Price

I have this with two kicker zx400.1 and it gives the voltage to keep the amps from running too hard off the low voltage my radio puts out. I like that you can fine tune your system off of this, its great. No pops from the amps how I have it hooked up to a constant 12v source. As always sonic has everything car audio I need, THANKS SONIC!!

Turn-off thump

I used this preamp to boost the line level to my sub amp. It worked well and sounded good, but made the subs "thump" on turn off. This could probably have been solved by running the preamp power from constant 12V instead of from the remote (it takes very little current) or delaying the turn off, but it annoyed me so much that I just removed it and found another solution.

does the job

It boosts the signal from my iPod that I have hooked directly to the amp. I am running a Vibe Litebox2 amp, Polk MM691 speakers and the PAC LD-10 in an icechest radio. I hooked the ipod directly to the amp with out the line driver and it was ok. I then hooked up the line driver and only had to turn it up 1/8 of the way. It made it sound like a dream. If you are going to hook an MP3 player to the amp with out a headunit I would suggest you get a linedriver. This one does not have any mounting screws or holes to use your own. I ended up using velcro to attach it to the inside of my cooler. It is a little flimsy but once you set it and find a way to mount it you shouldn't worry about that.

It's OK

Works well and does the job, but build quality is very cheap.

Works well

Worked well for my purpose. No complaints. I don't have any others to compare it to but it seems to work good. Clean sound.

Great Line Driver/Signal Booster for Portables

I would recommend this product if you need to boost levels before going into any input. It is especially good for boosting output of portable devices before the aux input. In my case I used it to boost output from a Bluetooth receiver into the aux input of a Land Rover LR3, a vehicle which is notorious for low signal levels on the aux port. Now the output matches the other sources (CD, Radio, Sat, Nav).

PAC LD-10 - Worth Ever Penny!

I utilize this in a speaker cooler in between my BT (Fusion MS-BT100) and my amplifier (Polk PA D2000.2).

When I tune the amplifier using a multi-meter I can obtain the correct output AC voltage from my amp with this line out driver. This pre-stage amplification allows the input voltage to match what my amp needs to output the correct AC voltage for peek gain performance.

The only down sight I see is that the two input signals are adjusted independently and you have to eyeball that they are at the same level when adjusting with a screw driver.

No matter if you are connecting through a BT dongle to amp or directly from your iPhone to amp, this PAC LD-10 should be installed to allow your amp to reach its full potential.

I would HIGHLY recommend this line out driver when building a speaker cooler! Worth the $21!

Shielding

The Output leads should be shielded to avoid interference. I tried everything to get the hiss out and the tones from the cars computer interaction with the car. I grounded it to dead and cut the noise down to half. I already bought a new one and this time I'm wrapping the output leads in aluminum foil and make sure they touch the ends for a ground. My phone was the worst. Even a foot away it was receiving the electronic tones of computing.

PAC LD-10

Works OK with my 2012 Mustang OEM system; but it does not raise the base above the stock system like i had hoped, can not really tell the difference in sound after installing in car.

Preamp voltage BOOST!

Head unit not putting out the preamp voltage as advertised with a clean signal? Look no further. The PAC LD-10 is the answer. Very easy to power. Very easy to set! At the cleanest volume setting, i was only seeing 2 volts max. After installing the LD-10, i have over 4 volts and allowing my amp to operate at its full potential while not having to work so hard!

Great! Cheap, and works, but…..

Great product for the money! But, it literally will fall apart! The case on mine wasn’t glued or snapped together, just sitting on it, if u was to pick it up by the sides it will come apart, but it works great!!! Great for the money, and sounds great.

Work but low voltage increase

I had to send mine back according to packaging they only increase line voltage of a low level input like max 1.5 - 2vrms. so these would be useful from going to 2v preamp to 4v. etc. at best.

If you need to converter you will need a pacs that converts from high level to low then up. when i did this with mine it would had been .8v then add on the vRms rating of these and better off just using high level inputs on the amp honestly.
