Bose Factory Audio? No Problem
I installed a Clarion NX409 head unit into my 2000 Acura 3.5RL with the factory Bose audio system, and it sounded terrible. The volume was way too loud, there was constant static, and popping when turning on and off mute - all consequences of amplifying the sound signal twice. After reading around, I decided to jump the gun and get this PAC OEM-1 unit. Upon installing, I didn't notice very much difference. Then I tweaked the outputs (I essentially turned them down to where it was barely audible) - all of my problems went away. Crystal clear Bose sound again, appropriate volume, no buzzing. Not only can I use my stereo appropriately again, but I have that lovely Bose sound that we all pay way too much for. Thank you PAC for making such excellent products. I bought both this and the SWI-JACK to allow use of my factory steering wheel audio controls. I am very thankful that somebody (PAC) makes units like these!

Required with the Bose system in the Acura CL
This cable installed quickly and easily. Required when the standard cable did not work (as I had a Bose radio with amp). Cable was a breeze to install. I would recommend to anyone with the premium radio option in their car

Not sure this product made any difference
Wanted to preface this review by saying I own an Acura, and this was made for a Honda, I assumed the electronics would be similar. The plug didn't match, so I had to hard wire the entire module. Everything works fine, but I am not convinced it made that much difference, but considering the low price point, I am not disappointed.

Another excellent product from PAC...
I used this unit to install an aftermarket head unit into my 2000 Acura 3.5RL with the factory Bose system. With minimal tuning, this got my radio sounding great - got rid of the pops, hiss, and volume problems I was having. I gave it an inferior design rating only because it is so large!

Perfect!
This wire harness system worked perfectly! I could not find any harness adapter/installation kit for the Bose stereo system in my 2002 Acura RL 3.5 at Crutchfield.com. When I spoke with someone in person at Crutchfield, they tried their best to help me find something, to no avail. So glad my internet search found Sonic! Pros: color coded wires matched my stock harness exactly. Easy to follow instructions. Excellent customer service from Ernie Ruiz when I had a quick question. All 8 speakers and subwoofer work perfectly! Cons: none I could find.
