It makes life easier.

For Nissan cars, the signal of OEM headunit is preamp. Otherwise you better connect the preamps to the speaker cables and you are done, sound will be better. BOSE amplifiers respond really well when they are connected to 4 or 5 Volt preouts. It is all you need.

If your aftermarket radio has no preamp output, you need this item.
I need the preamps and my AVH-5050dvd has only two preamps. I wired the front preamp to the front speakers (yes, direct) with RCA's, the rear preout to SubWoffer. For the rear i used this unit, adjust the level to the appropriate audio gain (I had a hard time with this, but once made, you are done).

PAC oem - infinity g20

Works great connected to cx609 running signal to stock Bose amp. No need for adjustment, set perfect out of the box. Originally installed head unit with preamp output to speaker wire device, but with 2v preamp outputs volume was too limited. PAC OEM 1 solved the issue.

Great Product!

I got this product when the adapter that came with my sound system wasn't compatible with my bose system in my '03 G35. The old adapter had the two RCA connectors for the sound and that's it. It seems that kind of adapter only allows my front two speakers to work. When I installed this, all four speakers and subwoofer worked again!

Pros: Brings out best of my Bose system in my '03 G35

Cons: Doesn't manufacture money.

Nice product

I used this on my 2000 Maxima. It worked great and saved me hundreds of dollars to replace the factory amp and speakers. (BTW I don't know what the comment above about buttons is about.)

Very good sound , but incorrect listing

I love this package! I installed it ( using the correct wiring harness ) and it took me less than an hour, it's very easy and the sound of my speakers is better than the factory radio.

IT WORKS

IT WORKED PERFECTLY FOR MY 2006 350Z.
IM VERY GLAD I DID NOT HAVE TO REPLACE MY SPEAKERS.
AND IT SOUNDS GREAT, ALTHOUGH I BOUGHT A GOOD CLARION DOUBLE DIN RADIO .SO DONT THINK YOU CAN JUST CONNECT THIS TO A CHEAP RADIO AND BE BLOWN AWAY

Awesome sound

This wiring harness is elaborate but necessary for the Bose system. People have had trouble with the other harness for Nissan. They have trouble with volume being low. I bought the wrong one and sent it back for this one. This makes the factory Bose sound great.

Great product

If you have a Nissan with the bose system this is a must buy. I read many reviews on this product and it made hooking up a aftermarket head unit a breeze. Get this!

Works Fine

Installed unit on 2004 Nissan 350z with Bose for replacing the Bose. I used the low power inputs, it was very easy, no problems.

Awesome product as advertised

I purchased this for my 350z with standard Bose stereo as I wanted to replace the pathetic standard stereo. With the 350z you have to run low level inputs into the factory amp (speaker outputs from aftermarket stereos are high level) so this adapter enabled me to run an aftermarket head unit with having to resort to separate high to low level converters.
Unit worked great although it would have been nice to include iso plugs, as most aftermarket stereos have them these days, also unit size is a little big (still smaller then separate converters though).

A must have adapter to keep your Bose amp.

I replaced the factory Bose head unit in my Infinity with a pioneer unit but kept the Bose amp and speakers. Using a Metra adapter I had very weak volume and poor sound quality. Switching to the PAC ROEM-NIS2 made all the difference in the world. Strong volume and much better sound quality. I consider it a 'must have' for a factory Bose system.

Good option for bose users

Easy enough to install with the color coded wires. O ly thing i had to do extra was run a ground from my headunit to the chassis. It would not turn on when hooked to the pac harness . I used the high level + speaker wires to run my android. (no dvd) So it left me with enough space to tuck away the PAC.

PAC ROEM-NIS2 - Nissan Bose Stereo System Adapter

Wow, this Nissan Bose stereo system adapter works like magic!

I was skeptical for the extra cost and installation but what a surprise. You don't need any other wiring kit. It wires up exactly as the Nissan Bose system.

You get a choice of Low or High out. I chose the High of course.

All you need are the Aftermarket stereo, this adapter and the Nissan 2 pole to one antenna adapter. If you have the Steering control and would like to activate this option, then you can buy a Steering Control adapter.

Otherwise, I really recommend this Nissan Bose Stereo System adapter for those Nissan car owners who want to install an aftermarket stereo system.
