Cheap materials

Connects my iPod to my Pioneer head unit. Connection to iPod is not 100% secure, so if the iPod moves, sound crackles. Outer vinyl casing is very stiff so it does not allow for easy flex (makes the crackle problem worse). As far as sound otherwise, works really good as it is a direct connection to the stereo, not a poor quality FM transmitter.

Great Value

I have bought this PAC iC-PIOP connector for my pioneer system and it was damn easy to install. I'm extremely happy with different connection options that were provided with this cable like ipod connectivity, auxiliary pin and component stereo inputs. Lets me connect almost all music players. Thats for its elegant and sturdy design, its definitely meant to last longer and haven't had any problems since last 6 months. The audio is damn clear. Totally changed the way my speakers sound now. Thanks Sonic for selling me a good product for reasonable price.

PAC-iC-PIOP

This product charges our iPod and allows it to play through some Pioneer car stereos. It works just as advertises. The only difficulty is using the product is finding where the vehicle manufacturer hides the various Pioneer audio components. Once located, it is an easy plug and play to use the audio interface. Finding a ground and appropriate 12 VDC line are equally easy, especially if using "T" taps. This direct connect wire works much better than the wireless and cassette alternatives. Great product but expensive if you don't shop around. Use the picture to ID the cable and use Ebay to find the best price.

Not Bad For the Money

My iPod touch comes through loud and clear on my Pioneer stereo. Installation was pretty easy and everything works like it's supposed to. The only negative is that it isn't fully compatible with Gen2/3 iPods or iPhones. An adapter is required in order to be able to charge them.

It works

Adapter works, what can I say. Perfect add-on to my head unit, and for the price you just can't beat this.

Works Perfectly

I use this every single day to listen to my iPod Touch in the car. I have no problem with it, it works flawlessly. And it is a very good price.

iPod plug in review

This product is great. However it had a loose connection in it when I bought it before I even used it. I was able to solder the wire that was bad so I have loved it.

Great way to get mp3 players on an older headunit

Very sturdy construction. Has multiple inputs. I currently have this installed through the glove box of a Jeep Wrangler and close the cord in the box without any damage to the cable. I use this product with an iPhone 2G 16GB. I get the "This product is not designed for your phone" error when I plug in, however, if I hit "ignore" it works fine. I am able to use my iPod functions and still have access to data and incoming calls/txts. I also hooked up the power cable directly to a 12V lead so I can charge my phone when the vehicle is off.
